Is it because it only reports the chip power, not the whole card power?
6600xt as fast if not faster than 3060 12gb while consuming 30-40w less power.
disappointing to see a 7000s series card to only have like 5-10 fps difference from their previous gen... even if its not an xt variant, it should have at least 15%-20% performance increase. if you'll see the power draw, rx 7600 is like 20ish higher than the 6600 xt, imagine for a 5-10fps boost to eat that much watts on standard settings. Id go for rx 6600 xt any day and hide this rx 7600 forever. i can get more performance than a 5-10fps with the right settings configured with a rx 6600xt to be honest. this should be a rx 7500 xt, not an rx 7600.

I'm not missing alot from the performance difference between the RX 6600 XT from the RX 7600. Super close in terms of performance in games...encoders and other features...i'm sure the 7600 has the upperhand...but I'm happy with my RX 6600 XT. Might get this card again for my GF or the A750 from Intel.
It's a replacement for the 6600, I don't get why people compare the 7600 and 6600xt so much when the 7600xt will be the replacement for it
@@KingVulpes The thing is it isn't necessary to upgrade every time a new gen comes out. If the performance stats are similar...then it's better to save the money for something else in the future.
My point of my statement was that there are cards that have out performed their predecessors by a good amount.
Replace the card? Yeah. Sure. In time. But there are those who just wanted to newer, shinier thing just kuz...
It's like the comparisons of the 3060 and its Ti variant standing up against the newer gen 4060... Raw Power, both the 30 series cards are equal or better than the 4060 in most scenarios. Run the frame gen and other advanced features the 4060 outshines them...but that's the problem with the 4060. Most gamers and consumers want raw power. Turning on fancy features are great but.... There isn't much to say about the card other than that.
In contrast, the RX 7600 is definitely a great card. A better piece of hardware over the 4060. But the performance gains to hop from a 60 series card to a 7600 card doesn't seem appealing.

I wouldn't get an Intel. Their driver are not good yet. It will take years for them to get to AMD NVIDIA level. Eventually, they can make it, but right now I would skip Intel
I'd suggest to pick up RX 7600 for those who still gaming with GTX 1060/1070 or RX 580/590 and you'll get a decent amount of performance gains.

Have a rx 570 and its kinda better just waiting for now. 7600 just came out which made the 6600xt and 6600 come down in price. 6600xt is very close to same performance for $230 in the U.S. and $180 for 6600. The price to go to 7600 at its current $250 doesn't seem worth it and better to go 6700xt at 12gb at $309.

7600 is around 290 usd in my area atm vs rx 6600 xt at around 200 usd, oof. wth were they doing...

6600 xt using 40 watts less and giving this much performance is amazing. Now I know why consoles choose AMD
wow i feel sad for the rx 7600 non xt. yeah he got better frames but the power consumption is on par with rx 6700xt but only using 8gb vram so ill purchase a used 6700xt then it has 12gb vram but what i after is power efficient so i think rx 6600xt or rx 6650xt is still the one to go to. you can play games without paying too much electric bill
Used to cards like this would beat the previous previous gens 1 tiered higher GPU and not basically be a slightly better 6650XT

@@serejamos3250 Exactly. Nowadays, consumers should skip at least two generations or more of graphics cards to get as much performance as possible. If you go back to 2016 for the gtx linup, we all know there is a gap in performance difference from generation to generation from gtx 960 to 1060 that performs 70% faster than last gen GPU. The last time was like this 💪👍🏻✊🗿, but now it's like this 😂🤣👎🏻🤡.
