Man that axe looks pristine! It almost has a SD jazz neck humbucker sound in that position. I'm glad you mentioned it. I thought it was just the single coil in the middle. I usually don't gravitate towards middle pickup positions but this one sounds great.
Also... Was this not a crazy good track by Elevated? I know he usually does great work but man I just wanted to jam forever on this one

Funny I'm swapping out the '59 in the neck of my first San Dimas with a Jazz neck. Always heard the JB/Jazz combo works really well but haven't tried it. We'll soon see.
Elevated Jam Tracks does major keys so well and without sounding corny. When I write in a major key it sounds like a cartoon. lol

@@dmnguitarist 🤣🤣 I know exactly what you mean!
And 59/jazz has been my favorite setup for the longest. The Cort I had in my videos has that setup and it was one of the reasons I bought it. I have the same setup in 3 other guitars as well. Idk if it's just because it's the most common and our ears are used to hearing those pickups but they just do everything well. The only thing you can't get is that nice fat neck single coil tone. The jazz is smooth and it can be coil tapped, but it's not quite the same.

Which pickups are in those? I assume a jb, and two flat strats? Amazing playing and i do love the guitar 🎸💯👌🏻

Yep. JB and 2 flat Strats. The nice thing is the 3 position is the outer coil of the JB with the neck single coil. The first three or so minutes here is using that position. Kinda Telecaster'ish in a way. Love that sound.

Super nice touch ! How would you compare the MJ to the Mexican models? thanks !

Slightly nicer in some ways but nothing that makes much difference in the end. Kinda hard to justify the extra money over a MIM honestly but if it's in your budget, the MJs are definitely nice guitars. I like the finish on the neck a little better, the Gotoh bridge is nice and I love that it's a 24 fret San Dimas. That's the main reason I bought it.

@@dmnguitarist Damn I would have expected night and day difference...But I guess nowadays mexican productions are very good (as my Danhage signature)...Thanks !
