I still want a good Fantastic Four ride, Fearfall is cool but I want to see a ride going through the Negative Zone, the Mole Man's kingdom, Lateveria, before coming back to the Baxter Building.
This is such a fun format and I really enjoyed the pitch. Very realistic to the technology. I've been Blue Sky-ing my own ideas for parks lately too, including one for my hometown and a Jim Henson park.
Great video as per usual! Being UK based I’ve not been able to go to a Stateside Disney park since I was a kid. My girlfriend and I are planning a WDW trip in the next couple of years though. THIS ride idea, however, would seriously have us considering tacking on a half week trip to California on the end. Seriously cool idea that sounds way more immersive than what they currently offer!
I like this concept a lot. I hope in future videos in this series that there might be more video reels to draw from as the still images can get a bit dull after seeing them a couple of times.
Thanks! I was trying to recreate the experience of Imagineering's announcements with concept art allowing the viewers to fill in the gaps with their own imaginations, but I can definitely include more video / film clips in the pitch!
@@InnoVision3D I can understand the motivation behind that, but I'm a zoomer and I need my eyes filled with as many pretty (and moving) pictures I can get. Great work on this one!
If I wanted to go to Universal Studios and see film franchise attractions I would. The modern WD Corp is so focused on franchises it's lost track of Walt's vision.
I mean, you're not wrong. Disney's last not IP attraction was what? The raft ride for Shanghai? I would even argue the last true story-focused non-IP was Mystic Manor which opened nearly a decade ago. It seems that film franchise rides are here to stay, especially if the current leadership remains in charge. Though I suppose one could argue that they always had a place in Disneyland's DNA with Fantasyland and Frontierland (ie Davy Crockett) essentially serving as the IP's of Walt's era. They just have gotten more and more noticeable since the 80's.
Why did you have to make this? I want it to be real so bad. I'm an OG fan of Doctor Strange in the comics. And then he didn't get much during or after his movie. (Maybe too hard to market to kids?) Glad he's getting more attention.
