Great tutorial, thank you! Make it really easy to follow and implement. Especially, having unsplash and iconify plugins. Would ask for an implementation of a marketplace screens for some services.
If any beginners watching, this is exactly how industry works, first they design on sigma and then they move to react-native, ty for the tutorial, and also can you please make a video on how to make all the components( or folders) by seeing sigma to create project in react-native , Thank you
Thanks for the comment, and you're right! If you're looking for the code version of this, please check out this playlist where I go through the entire process from design to development in react native ruclips.net/p/PLYBvEAka-q1ix8PZE_NiPaCy3lpChgGoa
Awesome channel & content! Can't wait to see what else you got in store for us in the future. Quick q - How do you find those mini icons/images of the pizza/soft drink. Is there a name for these type of designs?
Appreciate it a lot man and I'm happy to see you're enjoying the content! To find the pizza/soft drink type pics, I try to find websites that have free illustrations. Usually, I just look up "free illustrations" on google and click the links till I find the pics I want, but here's some great places to get started: - icons8.com/illustrations - undraw.co/illustrations - www.drawkit.io/
Very happy with this tutorial. Btw about the pizza image, where do you get it? Do we need to credit the images if we use it for our portfolio? How do you credit it then?
Great question, I just added the link to the design in the bio. The design was found on Dribbble and I believe we do need to credit the image if used in your portfolio since they originally created the design. For easy access, here's the link dribbble.com/shots/11338017-Food-Delivery-Mobile-App
yeah! I get all my inspiration from dribbble.com/. Generally, I will find a nice design that I want to design and code and add a few tweaks to it. If I've used a design as inspriration, I will give a shoutout in the description with a link to their design
Hey! Here's the step by step to do so: 1. Go to www.figma.com/file/gfIboy4J44lvD9CoDr62rH/Food-App 2. Sign in to Figma (or sign up) 3. At the top middle of the screen, you'll see some dropdown options. Find the one that says something along the lines of "Make a copy" 4. Go to your figma home (figma.com) and you should see a copy of the file!
Good, clean and direct example.
