As an Old school barber that used all the name brands cords to cordless. Tpob machines BY FAR makes your job easier and BETTER. This is why I now have majority of Tpob machines and will keep buying them!
I’ve been a Barber for 27 years and collects all the new clippers as soon as they come out. By far TPOB is equivalent to some of the best that I’ve used. I definitely will be picking this trimmer up today although I’m supposed to receive the troll today as well lol
You mentioned in a previous video, that you should have a long and short trimmer in your tool set-up. Can you define what that is? Is a short trimmer Zero gapped? What is the long trimmers setting. Thanks, love this channel. Hope to see more of your tutorials - Jefferson
My short trimmer is my hitter. Very closely gapped. My long trimmer is pulled back and typically would be what I’d use on kids. That way I can bald out with my short trimmer and work out any in between lengths from my closed no guard with the long trimmer. Right now my saber and TPOB x are my short trimmers, and my fx3 is dialed back to be my long trimmer.
@@thewoodshedbarber I just got the X trimmer with the black psycho blade last week, and tbh with you, I’m not that impressed with it, I’m thinking it’s just their blade. I feel like it cuts a little rough when balding, at least on my facial hair , (i don’t have a thick beard either) even tho the gtx exo sounds horrible like a lawn mower but it cuts way smoother and glides over the skin much smoother than the X I’ve also heard from other videos/barbers that gold blades cuts better than the blacks, I’m not sure if this is a real thing but if it is then I might just swap the blade on the X
@@thedanwriter1 i completely understand, some blades are just duds I guess. I do also prefer the gold blades. I put the gold psycho blade on mine after the review and loved it even more.
@@DUICE08 the blade that came with mine was perfectly fine for me, I got the gold out of curiosity. The difference is hard to capture on video. It just seems to slide on the skin better. Less drag for some reason
You should try the tpob machete clipper is one of the best clippers ive tried. My 3 favorites for rotation the machete,sc instincts and babyliss boost. I also own 2 saber trimmmers and 1 tpob x trimmer. Check out the machete man!
One saber with the precision blade and one modded with the andis gtx Evo blade and tpob x for debulking cause the blades are the cheapest from the 3. Whenever I will have to rebuy the blade.
@@DUICE08 90mins is fine, I only use the trimmer for around edges anyway and although I don’t use any of my trimmers for debulking the blade can debulk really good, for $13 can’t complain

@thewoodshed I need a blade that hits an is good on kids an adults I heard the coco blade but I can't get a good answer on which blade out there is the best
The most comfortable blade I’ve used is the X-Pro blade on the saber. The second most comfortable is a three way tie between classic babyliss gold fx, psycho blade, and the blade that comes on the Vader trimmer from Supreme.
Just copped the pink one waiting for it to get here I can’t wait to use it thanks for your honest review bro 🙏🏽

Appreciate the thorough review! How would say the sound compares to the saber? Sorry if I missed that

They are both top notch!
Good vibes and great info. I’ve been eye balling this exact model from TPOB, and I’m for sure getting them. Thanks dude.
Thanks glad I could help

About like babyliss

Does the tpob x beat the andis gtx exo in terms of noise, bulk removal and line up?
in every category. this in my opinion is a top three trimmer. Andis needs to overhaul the GTX Exo in my opinion.
