La Pavoni Lever Espresso Machine: How to remove the sightglass (Professionale model with Gauge)

Stefano from Stefano's Espresso Care demonstrates how to remove and replace a sightglass assembly from a Pavoni Professionale machine.
If the sightglass will not budge after the nuts are loosened and you do not have an appropriate tool to grab it without damaging it, then you may need to safely break the glass tube. I normally do so with a tap of a metal rod right in the middle, which in most cases will crack, but not shatter, the glass so there are no small pieces, especially inside the lower fitting. At that point you can proceed with cleaning and rebuilding.
