From blood and ash is my all time favorite book (series). Like 6 stars. No book will ever make me feel that way those books did and I would do EVERYTHING to read it again for the first time. I already reread the series 3 times! I'm so in love with the story and the characters!!!❤

The caraval trilogy gets to GOOD once it switches to Tella’s pov for the 2nd and 3rd book like the third book had me giggling and kicking my feet

I don’t know why every single person that read the Caraval trilogy says that. And don’t get me wrong, I loved Legendary and Tella’s pov on Finale, but I just LOVED Caraval and Scarlett’s pov, the romance on her side and everything on that first book. But I understand why people loves Tella cause I loved it too. It’s such an unpopular opinion hahaha

i liked from blood and ash but reading poppy’s thoughts every other two pages for 5 minutes infuriated me. she repeated everything 20 times

Legend and Finale are much better than caraval, plus you get so much of Jack's backstory! All the things that they mentioned for Jack's past love story in OUABH happen in the second/third book with Donatella, really recommend!
giving caraval a 3.5 is so criminal oh my god you HAVE to get to finale it is so so so good
wrong place wrong time is SO good. the story has like plot twist after plot twist. i really think you’d like it & i recommend it to anyone. i went in completely blind & ended up loving it.

Oh man, I love the blood and ash series. It's like most fantasy books where you have to read the second book to get into it. The prequel series is even better. I do hope you give it another shot in the future.
The physical pain I felt at how quickly she moved past assassins apprentice. The us covers definitely suck, but OH MY GOD possibly the best book I've ever read

blood from and ash is a series. but it’s a really good series. i think you’ll really enjoy it. im enjoying it too. i tried reading the second book. i only got like 100 pages in and im not feeling it but I’ve heard that the whole series gets better, that’s what i hear 💗

I haven't read From Blood & Ash but I've heard some ppl say that the last 200ish pgs of it reminded them of The Serpent & The Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent, which I loved, so I think you might like that one more! Plus, Carissa's writing is chef's kiss

The book Caraval is one of my favorites but how you described it, it sounds like you kind of just expected it to be as good as once upon a broken heart and it wasn’t. I haven’t read once upon a broken heart so I don’t really know what your thinking while comparing them but you probably have a different pov since you read Caraval after it. I’m probably gonna read once upon a broken heart but it’s not on my priorities for my tbr so idk. But it’s always fun to hear others’ thoughts on the same thing so I’m glad you did this! I want to try it too but I don’t have TikTok so i can’t:(

I love from the blood and ash and at the moment I’m on the 4th book. I can understand that you only give it 3 stars cause it’s like you said very detailed and sometimes boring but it gets better and better. But you really have to concentrate reading it sometimes

sara PLS read the darkest minds!! it's a distopian series (not scary at all unlike the cover made you think lol) that i absolutely LOVE; apart from the story which is very interesting you get SO attached to the characters, they honestly became everything to me

I definitely understand wanting a fantasy book to be shorter. I get that way sometimes and I love fantasy. You should read Girls in the Garden by Lisa Jewell!
Second book of caval is sooo similar to ouabh, i think you would love it. If you get time i think you should read at least 2nd one, and then put off the last one for later. Tella is such an amazig character and i personaly love her the most out off the three (elangeline, scarlett and tella) She is not potrated the best from scarletts pov, she made out to be ths spoiled brat who just get herself and scarlett in truble, but she's sooo much more.
Caraval was arguably the best book in the series.

Tella is 100% my favorite sister. She's the main character in Legendary and that book was a total 5 stars. My favorite in the series and in that one you see the connections to Once Upon a Broken Heart
