Beautiful!!! Country Music Hall of fame should include all the legends. Dottie was truly one of the trail blazers for female country artist of today. They should insist that Dottie gets put in into the Country Music Hall of Fame. She helped alot of artist along the way.

this is country music at it's best. Listening you can feel her emotion. Simply an amazing lady. Died of a broken heart and broke because she trusted to a fault. We need more Dottie West's in music today.

Just the very greatest. She has always been my "go to and listen" female country singer, simply because her style and music is truly sang with stardom emotion.

Hi carol Yes we need to get behind our country singer's ..Just saw The Stage burner on last nite on the O-Reilly on fox Pinhead's and patriot's He is a pinhead { Garth } One or two song's made him a star I would not step across the street to see him...That is just about the time they hi-jacked country music...Just thinking

You are absolutely correct. Nashville panders to those who couldn't hold a candle to Dottie musically. The Opry turned their backs on Dottie full knowing she had fallen on hard times. We hear of Johnny Cash, George Jones and their problems but, did any of these people extend a hand to Dottie? If they did, it wasn't enough. Somehow, when Dottie died, so did country music.

I love several of her songs too and once had an album of hers on tape. What a sad way her life ended. I had no idea how she died. Thanks for giving me the info, and thanks again for the great upload. Enjoy the weekend, and take care. ♥

Nashville has let this lady down in more way's than you can count and the fan's know it ..That is Dottie was good member of the Opry How many year's ? And they not put her in the Country Hall yet..And they get on Country Family Reunion RFD and talk about how they care and love each other..And when Dottie was down on luck No one saw that she had a ride to the Opry ..Where was that love and caring that fatal evening...
