Honestly its amazing how well all these past villains added to the Impel Down Arc. Makes you wonder, how much had Oda already planned when he first designed them. I mean it can't be a coincidence that the most important abilities in this arc were those of Mr.2 and 3, who were introduced years earlier and just so happen to be among the few villains, where it would have made sense to meet them again in Impel Down.
