“A Star is Born” stars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, in her first leading role in a major motion picture. Cooper helms the drama, marking his directorial debut.
In this new take on the tragic love story, he plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers-and falls in love with-struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer… until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were both amazing. And dang I fell in love with this guy. He wasn't like Ken (male Barbie guy lol!) in that movie, but he was sooooo darn handsome and charming. Lady Gaga looks so much better without her tons of make up and all dolled up! She's so darn pretty in that movie and you wouldn't recognize her. Bradley Cooper looks like a real man in that movie and I loved that and his eyes are breathtaking... His drinking is not acceptable of course! But it's all about unconditional love! Loved that movie and I'm not a Lady Gaga fan, but I think she's such a genius and her voice is great! Not the biggest fan of her music though.....

Ozzie Pez It's actually the second remake of the Judy Garland original. There was also one in the 70's with Kris Kristofferson and Barbara Streisand. Elvis Presley was originally going to play Kristofferson's role.
44excalibur Judy Garland's version was not the original. Her's was the first remake. The original movie was about actors not singers. It was released in 1937 and starred Janet Gaynor and Fred March. This new version will be the 4th remake. (a bit of trivia)
Man, Lady Gaga makes Madonna look like Mery Streep. She already ruined American Horror Story, now an actual movie in the theatres?? This should be on USA or TBS. Nobody wants to hear her broadway voice on pop records or in movie theatres. Send her to Broadway! So I never have to hear about her again.

Lady Gaga is actually a very pretty woman without that ton of makeup she wears in her other musical performances.
