My queen the iconic Daenery Stormborn of house targaryen, you will never be forgotten. Dany was the last character to die in game of thrones, Game of thrones died with Dany
She was not the queen Westeros deserved but the one it needed. So, they had to kill her. Because, she was not their heroine. She was the mother of dragons. Queen of the Andals, First men, Bay of Dragons and the great grass sea. She was the breaker of chains. *She was Daenerys Stormborn.*
I never like a character so much, never a character has inspired me so much in a personal level and see what they done to her it hurts me. She didn't deserve this. The writers had no respect or dignity for her...A shame!
*YES!* Or she could be resurrected as the Night Queen but instead of having an undead dragon she'll have the real deal and because dragons seem to be the source of magic in Game of Thrones, that might make her 10 times stronger than the previous Night King 😯
Dragons and their riders have a connection with each other that they'll never come anywhere close to with anyone else and I'm pretty sure there's a telepathic connection between them. He probably loves her more than we can even imagine.
I love how Zurik did it though. It showed Daenerys in the beginning, how she was so full of hope and dreams and had so much going for her, people who believed in her and who were by her side. Then we see the slow descent of everything she worked so hard for, becoming lonely and ostracized again in the face of peril against her biggest enemies, and how this correlated to her losing her way, and her eventual downfall. It's very tragic. It made me cry.

Bless you superstar ...you will follow in her foot steps. ...you do know there's anther story to tell 😍😍 after all where her Dragon take her ?????x xxx
In her vision at the house of the undying, Daenerys actually had a premonition of her own death. Directly following her approach to the throne, she was reunited with the deceased Drogo and son in the afterlife. Which is exactly what came to be in the series finale. That was incredible foreshadowing and a sign that the writers had a masterplan all along.
In that vision, Daenerys even says the lines: _"Maybe I am dead and I just don't know it yet. Maybe I am with you (Drogo) in the Night Lands."_ To which Drogo responds: _"Or maybe I refused to enter the Night Lands without you. maybe I told the Great Stallion to go f**k himself and came back here to wait for you."_
Looks like you have a nice camera and you seem charismatic. You should not contribute to the already excessive market of reaction videos and instead to to make something new.
I know what you are saying.. I love her also and I think they tried to much to hide the "twist" when it wasn't necessary. There would have been beauty in the tragedy even if the audience did see it coming. That is where the writers failed. I think the ending was just trying to say something about the dangers of prophecy. There are some great real life heroes and leaders with power and spiritual devotion who have changed drastically overnight due to extreme emotional peril/losses. They started seeing innocents as enemies and used faith as a justification for actions. I think the gods did have a purpose for her, but it was to be the counter force against ice, darkness, and fear. She was fire, light and love. It seemed to me that Bran manipulated and smashed the forces of Fire and Ice together knowing the world was doomed if either of them came out with too much power. She was an epic hero who sacrificed everything to help stop death and saved the world. But, that sacrifice also triggered the tragic flaw of her ancestors in the same many of the other characters in the show who met their fate. When watching fantasy I always try and have montages like this rolling in my mind, we don't always have to stick to exactly what the writers gave us and nothing more. Make up dozens of more story-lines in your head. Make layers on layers that fit. Figure out what the gods were thinking. Re-watch and keep in mind all the beautiful things about Dany, but let her also be a tragic character and feel that spark she hides from the world in the back of her mind. The fear and panic about being alone and unloved. The hint of satisfaction while watching various humans burn even if justified. Don't let the winners of the great game be the writers, the internet, or people who claim the writers should have filled in gaps. Forget them and let the world be real. Writers, actors, HBO, the earth don't exist for a time. Let experiences just happen without thinking about words. Instead of thinking something is unrealistic your mind will start automatically thinking how any given event is true in this world. For example one of the gods in my imagination is a master archer who can imbue people to make wildly fantastic shots. He guided the arrow that killed Rikon, the spears that killed Viserion and Rhaegal. Maybe the faceless god who is trying to balance the world? He did seem to touch Arya with some great marksmanship. Arya had some wildly fantastic powers like one split second where she channeled the gods and stealth to become invisible like the wind . She was balanced between black and white just barley coming out on the side of life and family when she made the choice to go North at the crossroads much to Bran's surprise. Maybe Arya has become a demi-god and it is unknown to even her? Is this why Bran couldn't see her choice or John's Choice? Maybe John is a Demi-god also? The Warrior? Maybe Arya is the Stranger? Maybe literal avatars of the Seven are all characters we know and part of their motivation was getting revenge on Cersei for blowing up the temple? Do the Seven avatars serve the bigger meta gods then? All questions I intend to think about whimsically when I do re-watches. The questions are often just as enjoyable as the answers. Journey before destination. Let your mind rewrite the story in a way that is the same but different and makes the entire series beautiful as a whole. The best Targaryens control their own thoughts, fight every battle, everywhere, always, in their minds, and see worlds that have never been.
I never understood that fans of Deanerys didn't see the signs early on. She was ruthless to get what she wanted. I loved the character, but knew she would either kill John Snow or end up like her father. Daenerys was held back by good advisers throughout the series. But as soon as they died or she lost trust in them she went free fall. And perfectly logical story wise. But of course sad. As mr Martin said: "If you think there is going to be a happy ending in GoT you haven't been paying attention". This rings very true in the aftermath of the series.
Yeah. She was especially ruthless to get the throne when she decided not to sail to Westeros in season 4, just because she wanted to ensure the slaves remain free and learn how to rule.
This video puts together all the pieces we needed to understand her evolution : "I've seen you ignore your councilors" ... "They won't obey you, unless they fear you".... "It made him feel more powerful, until the very end"... "You don't want to wake the dragon, do you?".... "No one can survive alone in this world"... The pieces are there, to justify her change of state, but the show, sadly failed to put it clearly so that we could understand where she goes. Now, looking back and putting all the pieces together, it makes sense, after all.
I’m sorry, but since season 1, they have been hitting us over the head, with how Danny’s arc was going to be, rushed in the last 2 seasons no doubt, but it was always going to be
Larissa...sorry but you're incorrect here. You're looking at this through the eyes of an emotional Daenerys fan rather than actually looking at her history. This mad queen thing was coming very gradually for several seasons. You can see it starting way back when she let Drogo kill her brother with no remorse about it; she's ALWAYS been ruthless to those who she considered enemies. Fire and blood has been what she's done pretty much from season one forward. Add in the revelation about Jon, the losses of two dragons, **Jorah**, and Missandei, and that pretty much pushed her over the edge into mad queen territory. This most definitely did NOT come out of nowhere and anyone capable of critical thought and not just fangirling could see it building up to this.
The mad queen was coming, and they should've built up to it. I've been waiting for mad dany since season 2, the execution was horrible. It's evident they crammed the entire plot of A Dream of Spring into episodes 4-6, and Daenerys spiral into madness crammed into 2 episodes. It was a complete joke, foreshadowing =/= development, the characters around Daenerys began turning on her before they saw her do anything irrational. It was lazy and rushed.
Foreshadowing isn't character development. Of course I don't like Dany 'getting mad', but I know they probably always wanted to go this way, and if it actually had some decent character development I probably wouldn't even be complaining at all.
@RheyaRu!z Show me any other contender to the throne in this show as ruthless as Dany. I'll wait. Stannis was the closest but a distant second as he was merely blinded by Melisandre's manipulations. Ramsey was indeed crazy, but didn't want the iron throne. Cersei was tough but not mad; she used subterfuge and selective murder to achieve her goals, not scorched earth. Dany enjoyed watching her brother die, tacked people onto crosses, immolated the Tarlys when she could have taken them prisoner, and after each victory there was more "bend the knee or there will be fire and blood" in her rhetoric. It's like the Tyrion character said...we cheered when she was killing evil people, but each time she felt more powerful in so doing. I really don't have a dog in this fight but I'm just tired of all the whining from Dany fans who wanted a fairytale ending.
