I had the privilege of playing trumpet on this album...like it was yesterday...we had a lot of fun doing shows and really taking the subway to shows. half the band rode the D train from Harlem to Coney Island once and took out our instruments and started playing all the way...jammed until the last stop Coney Island

This is me and my Fiancés song, I showed this to him a year ago and he just instantly fell in love with this rola. We were going to have this as our wedding song but i was second guessing because its more of breakup song than a love song. My one and only true love passed 3 weeks ago unexpectedly. He was my everything, we would listen to oldies all the damn time, we were like an old couple from the 70s. Anyways i can resonate with this song because i am setting my baby free and wishing him so much love up above. My sweet Ashton.

wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss, but more than this
    I wish you love
    And in July, a lemonade
To cool you in aome leafy glade
    I wish you health
    But more than wealth
    I wish you love
My breaking heart & I agree
That you & I could never be
    So with my best
    My very best
    I set you free
I wish you shelter from the storm
A cozy fire to keep you warm
But most of all when snowflakes fall
    I wish love
    So much love girl
Mm, i wanna wish you love girl
    So much love

You know Joe pecan in 1966 he was the first man to come out with Latin Soul and they thought it wasn't going to work because this man is part African-American in Filipino this man can speak Spanish he sings in Spanish also he made the song Chicana lady which was done by Curtis Mayfield before Joe pathan made it and Joe Bataan made it so much better then Curtis Mayfield and Gypsy Woman also the same thing so I'm just giving you a little history about your baton because I've been around music all my life I'm from Compton originally my first song at nine years old was Still Waters by The Four Tops it was my dad's reel-to-reel that's how I used to listen to music back in the day think I was 1964 cuz I was born 1956 and I learned a lot of Knowledge from my father my father was already listening to Temptation Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and Clarence Carter slip away that kind of music and I got my knowledge from him and that's why I'm so such a music buff and I could tell you who sang it first who sang it second and who did it third I don't even have to look and look at look it up because I already know I love music it's in my soul I want to know the person who singing I want to know who did it first just like Steve sales the voice of TERRA now he made the first song in 1980 or think it was 81 I know that for a fact and who did it first was The Intruders you probably can hear both of them but I like the way that Steve Solace did it and you know what this man is on fire right now he has a nice song called passion and storm he also do the song like it's too late baby to turn back now that was first done by the Cornelius Brothers back in the sixties and he sings it with PEPE Marquez which this man makes so much good music remember the song called Tighten Up by Archie Bell and the Drells well he did a remake of that and it sounds so much better and he also did a song a remake of grazing in the grass that was first done by the Friends of Distinction and 68 or 69 I know because I had all these 45 I don't even have to look anything up because everything's already embedded ingrained in my mind I'm not lying when I see this stuff I know my history I know about music so so much and I like people to have the same knowledge and learn about music and who sings it and what what nationality they are you know this man Joe pathan his voice is so sexy and so awesome you should listen to Chicana lady and Gypsy Woman and you'll love that song by Joe Bataan guarantee I work out to that music every single day and while I'm working out in my backyard because I can't afford to go no spa or no Fitness so I did in my backyard with my weights and I'm tanning at the same time so that's just a little bit of history of mine I'm sure you see my name all over the place because I comment on everything and I have like 4500 downloads and I know every single one of my songs because I Love oldies like Brenton Wood I had all his music Otis Redding The Temptations Junior Walker & the All-Stars Smokey Robinson the elgin's Rosie and The Originals I had all that when I was 14 years old I was only in 7th grade and then it became albums you know like Earth Wind & Fire Average White Band SOS band War El Chicano Azteca Teena Marie Rick James I love Smokey Robinson I've been listening to him for a long time the first song I ever bought from him I was 13 or 14 years old was Baby Baby Don't Cry by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles bad Jam but you know what I'm so thankful for this technology cuz I got to get everything that I got back I had albums and I got to see all these people live because the tickets were so cheap back in the day it's nothing like this going to a concert like that anymore you could be able to bring in your booze we had a thing in Oakland in 1977 it was called the day on the Green and that's when Santana came out with the album called Revelations and they had bands from early morning till late at night there was thousands of people there and not even a fight went on everybody was mellow smoking weed drinking just having an awesome time they didn't even patch you down back in those days so I got to see all those the real deal now all these people that I mentioned like Average White Band or 20 fire tower power some of these people have already passed on like two or three of their band members because you got to remember they were and they had bands from early morning till late at night there was thousands of people there and not even a fight went on everybody was mellow smoking weed drinking just having an awesome time they didn't even patch you down back in those days so I got to see all those the real deal now all these people that I mentioned like Average White Band or 20 fire tower power some of these people have already passed on like two or three of their band members because you got to remember they were already in and they had bands from early morning till late at night there was thousands of people there and not even a fight went on everybody was mellow smoking weed drinking just having an awesome time they didn't even patch you down back in those days so I got to see all those the real deal now all these people that I mentioned like Average White Band or 20 fire tower power some of these people have already passed on like two or three of their band members because you got to remember this was in the early 70s so of course they were older than me I was still young I was going to concerts when I was 18 years old I'm so glad that I got to see Tina Marie and specially Rick James because Tina Marie and Rick James were in love there's just album by Rick James and it's the first song remember the song called Mary Jane and then on that album was make love to me that's Brad jam and then him and Tina Marie sang Fire and Desire and then Rick James became Tina Marie's mentor and they fell in love what Tina Marie came out with the first song called lover girl and then Square Biz and then she did a song with Rick Jame call Every Little Bit Hurts that's a beautiful song I love it it makes me cry and Deja Vu makes me cry cuz they did that song at her funeral somebody sang it and and it's so so beautiful it's like awesome song I think Tina Marie had more to give us but she died at the age of 56 which is so sad but I know that her and Rick James are in heaven together singing because they really loved each other you can tell him the song Every Little Bit Hurts So I'm going to stop now cuz I can keep on forever God bless and love you music Joe pathan is awesome just a little history from for the mystery..♥️♥️♥️🎵🎵🎵🎼🎼🎼🎶🎶🎶🎷🎷🎷🎸🎸🎸

Growing up in the 70's the name Joe Bataan, went right along with the soul Music we listened to and played and at house parties the Bronx was famous for. This also remind of my Mother who is an ancestor now. One of those famous female singer in her time sung this as well.
