So ‘Maypole Days 😁I’m genuinely so happy how many people have listened to it so far!! Thank you! Can’t wait to keep sharing content around it with you guys!
It’s a song about a village called Wellow (the same Wellow I reference in my song ‘Fallen For You’) and the maypole celebrations that happen every may. I used to take part when I was younger and since I’ve returned to go and watch in the years hence, there is a strange sense of melancholy for me about it. So many of the people I assosiated with that day from my time participating are no longer here, yet the event is very much the same as it always was, same old chairs and stalls and stage though the names and the faces have changed.
