I did the same thing that was on the video, but for some reason I cannot see the x-ref and it show is the file directory of an z-ref.

Hello, I have a question and I am sorry if it's a noob question, since I am relatively new to CAD and drafting over all. I have no work experience. But would it be diligent of me to x-ref than copy/paste from a dwg file that wouldn't have any future changes such as an archive of pipe elbows, flanges, and etc. Thanks!
