Thanks for posting this! You’re a genius! This is just what I needed to fix my 2004 Frontier. I had one tweak. I couldn’t get my fingers in there to use the penny and JB Weld to replace the pad. I ended us using a flat circular magnet about the size of a penny and little ticker. It fits perfectly over the whole and doesn’t move a bit since it’s magnetized. Tat means my repair was free since it a set of these magnets at home already. Your post to find the problem set me off in the right direction! 😅
Thanks for this, I have been driving around in a 2006 Pathfinder without cruise control for 2 years, garage did not have a clue. It is an EU model so has a stick shift so the do dad is on the clutch pedal. Replaced it, now I have cruise control again. Made my day.
OK I just checked my truck and that part is missing so I'm sure that is going to be my fix. Thanks again. It's kind of unbelievable how you actually found that probably saved me $1000.
@Victor21RD en mi caso pasa estaba bien ,yo no estaba manipulando bien los botones, pensaba que con apretar el Cruise fijaba la velocidad, me olvide del set y demás, así que todo bien ,saludos!
You're a legend mate....T30 Nissan X-Trail in QLD Australia fixed for $0!!!
Awesome, glad to hear it! Never seen a T30 here in the US, I had to look it up. Neat rigs.

@@brian29190 good to hear! It's too bad the garage couldn't troubleshoot it.

Brooooo!!!! Nice work! Going to do this now. Ty!
auto parts stores sell the replacement rubber plugs that is missing from pedal. Pretty cheap too.
Thank you! This worked for my G35.
You're welcome, that's good to hear! I didn't know they'd be similar.
Thanks for the video. Found a little piece of plastic on the floor after the cruise quit working on a 2004 frontier. Same exact problem
You're welcome, I'm glad it helped!

Thank You!!
I'm gonna like I already subscribed, but even if that's not what's wrong with mine that was a great video and I liked the humor part.
That's great man thank you !!!!
You're welcome!
Just when I thought this was a clickbait title😂 really was a 1¢ fix
Any idea if it’s the same for a 2015 y62 patrol?

Oregon!
Yes indeed. What better place for a long, long test drive than traversing central OR?
