I never knew where the hockey heroes cards came from. I got a gretzky clear cut auto of hockey heroes from a box of clear cut and it always tripped me on what product the hockey heroes came from. Good to know about it now

I just started watching zeeree's videos. Really good stuff. Question for zeeree's fans or zeeree himself: Does he/you have any favourite rare cards from the junk wax era (e.g., 1989 to late 1990s)? I know that by definition that era doesn't have too many rare cards. But there are a few (e.g., Pro Set Cup hologram, error cards, etc.). Any ideas on cool rare cards from those years?

I used to have a Mack 9.5 YG Canvas but the guy i traded with apparently never received his end which was a mcdavid yg (that got lost in transit, but i feel like i got scammed cause only time i had that problem and he slowly left the hobby afterwards) so I had to send it back in the mail :(

For some reason I thought to myself before you cracked the first box "he's gonna pull the oversized Mackinnon."
I dunno why, but 13-14 was an expensive product, compared to other past series 1 products.
This was about 2ish years ago, I was buying 14-15 for 70-80 a box and 13-14 was 150 a box. Thank God I already completed the young guns set well before, I would not wanted to pay 150 a box. Especially because MacKinnon was worth 60 at the time, terasenko 40, and nothing else to write home about.
