Vaughan. Do you know of a resource for the musical rhythms for each dance? People always ask me, how do I know what dance goes with a piece of music. You mentioned something about and played a piece that had only the drum rhythm for the quickstep.
Hi! Yes I do, in our course Ballroom Mastery Academy Next Level there is a huge module on music to count with across the 10 international style dances. You can register your interest here if you like www.ballroommastery.tv/coming-soon-ballroom-mastery-academy Outside of that there are videos here that can help a little bit and I’ll do more as time goes on. Let me know what you need help with
A syncopated bear is simply a beat cut in half. Cha Cha Chasses: 4&1 (1/2,1:2,1) the 4& is telling you to syncopate by dancing those two steps over 1 beat thereby creating a more rhythmic action.
So good! Love your energy and passion. Thanks for this 🙏🏼
You’re welcome! Thank you for being here. I also have a podcast: www.dancer-af.com if you want more mindset for dancing and life :)
Can you do a video how to play with the timing? Like in rumba so iit looks not that simple a bit more POP
Why don’t you send me a video of your Rumba and I can feature it to use as a teaching tool to improve/use different timing? It’s easier that way.

Can you explain syncopated song or beats and how should I dance that?
