My favorite day of winter steelhead was a couple of years ago when a buddy and I got nine fish from the bank between the two of us in the same hole in about an hour. That same year I caught a wild fish in the upper teens the first time I ever tried bobber doggin a bead. I love winter steelhead!
That last fish is definitely a hatchery fish in my opinion, all the classic signs especially that dorsal, along with malformed adipose fin. Nice video guys.
Only been out twice...on 2 different upper Georgia tribal waters. First trip in the snow, epic day. Met Jordan that day on the way at the gas station. He was headed a tad further north. Hope he does well. Second trip a week later with Mr Ryan of Eagle Eye. My buddy and l had a great day with him. Super nice guy. Got my pb. Looking to get out again soon when the rivers drop and l don't have to work.
Good filming job on this trip guys! Steelhead been good for us in southern oregon so far this year! Took a lot of trips at first but tags filling up now! Haven't even got In a boat yet this season either. Bummer thing I better go back to work at sompoint...
Hey guys!! I've learned quite abit from all the videos so far and hope to be able to apply the techniques to my channel!! GREAT job guys and KEEP PUSHING THROUGH IT!!!
Limited to bank fishing so I’ve only been able to go out once with all this rain. Need to save up for some trips with the pros! Can’t wait to watch the video!
What time of the year are you guiding for steelhead. Like this river that I’m watching you guiding for these people here. Your definitely good at what you do.
Wish I could catch a steelhead again :( last time I caught one was back in mid January. Now with all this rainfall it's caused our local umatilla river to blow out immensely causing severe flooding and damage to urban areas. The water is so muddy that the discharge has caused the Columbia River in Eastern Oregon to turn brown. I might have to resort to going down towards Portland to quench my bobber down addiction.
Hey do you have a link to that odfw identification of a misclip. I cant find it online. Looks like itd be a handy thing to have saved on the phone if a trooper ever wanted to give you a hard time about it.
Been a blast! Lots of fish this year in my river. Unbelievable amount actually. And same for people lots of those as well lol. But hey everyone send Marlin bead packs this b day and x mas. Help the guy catch more fish! # beadbite
Love the Videos. Just moved up to Newberg and went for the first time on teh coast. When you are doggin, do you let your weight drag bottom? Or just above the bottom? Man so jealous.
While I don’t disagree that’s a hatchery, all too often OSP will not see it as so and write you a fat fine. You will be hassled to go to court, miss a day of work, only to get possibly fined based on what judge you get to try your case if he’s not too versed on the regulations. For this reason I let fish like that go, it’s just not worth it for me. Again, totally a hatchery fish for those in the know but amazingly the people that enforce these laws all too often aren’t even fisherman.
Nick I wanna take my pops out..do u have any dates left..plus I wouldn't feel guilty about lighting a cig. We could puff stuff together and still crush some fish..please get back to me
While I enjoyed watching the video and obviously you got your clients on some great fish if you were my guide and hooked a fish only to then hand me the rod I would be pissed. Unless the two guys in the boat had never fished before in their lives I suspect they would have loved to hook and catch or lose their own fish. Maybe things are different in Oregon than where I fish in Colorado and Wyoming but the guide hooking the fish is pretty poor in my opinion.
What’s up Addicts, how’s your winter steelhead season been going so far this year?!
Addicted Fishing last time i went out was December 20th. I’m going nuts not doing anything but working.
2 for 3 today jigs tipped with 🍤!!
1 trip only... total skunk . 1 trip planned next week!!
Haven't caught a hatchery steelhead yet this winter 🤬😡🤬....have landed 8 sea run cutthroat trout up 17" out of our very local creek.
started with a bang at the end of the year...then it rained forever I hope to get back at it in a couple days
Nick is killin it solo and while guiding. Could probably do his own fishing show. Keep it Addicted crew, you all make it worth while watching.
Popov is the MAN! Great attitude and the skill to match. Looked like a fun trip with some nice fish.
Can’t wait! I can already see Popov being a legend of salmon and steelhead fishing in the NW. he’s super talented at what he does.
He might be the best EVER
Would love to go fishing with Popov, Marlin, or any of the guys! A giveaway contest for a drift trip would be kinda killer.
Great day steelhead fishing in the pasture
Popov is awesome for the Addicts. Really good at what he does and for the camera. Super encouraging for anglers learning the ropes.
Popov is like the next Buzz Ramsey
what stood out to me in this video: Popov used the word "tablefare" lmao
Popov is a Badass.
I’ve watched this episode about 10 times now lol love the bobber doggin videos🎣
Jedi master fishing guide great to be with and he will make you laugh and hook you up on some danm great fish. Peel the reel
Be cool to see a walk through video of Popov's drift boat setup.

Good call, Nick... not endangering human lives for a fish. I would love to go on a guided fish hunt.
Low gin clear water on the first river below the Oregon border! HELP!
Wonder if Nicks regretting this one at all yet. Crowds were way, way thicker than the fishes were on Tuesday and that's a fact!
Hey do you have a link to that odfw identification of a misclip. I cant find it online. Looks like itd be a handy thing to have saved on the phone if a trooper ever wanted to give you a hard time about it.
Leasing a couple liberals down to catch fish. You are a trooper
Ayeeeee it’s a teacher at Gladstone high haha
You should teach them how to hold a rod before passing the rod.
That backyard looks familiar lol
For a second I thought he was eating the eggs raw!😝😝
What size trolling motor do you use?
And do you turn it around when you want to go upstream so that you are using the Forward instead of the Reverse?
You guys should make a trip to Michigan. If you ever do you gotta hook up with Mike Phillip's from knothead Outdoors.
What are the Brand/power and Action of spinning rods you are using they look awesome
Been a blast! Lots of fish this year in my river. Unbelievable amount actually. And same for people lots of those as well lol. But hey everyone send Marlin bead packs this b day and x mas. Help the guy catch more fish! # beadbite

What baitcaster and rod is that please
Is this Washington?
What river is this?
It’s the notellum!!! East fork

While I don’t disagree that’s a hatchery, all too often OSP will not see it as so and write you a fat fine. You will be hassled to go to court, miss a day of work, only to get possibly fined based on what judge you get to try your case if he’s not too versed on the regulations.

How many batteries do you have for your minn kota and where are they located ?
I've never seen such a un-emotional, disinterested client when catching and reeling in a steelhead. Stoked Zzzzzzz
I wish my rivers wernt blown out
Popov > Swanson
That first fish was caught on a worm, they put a bead down it's throat and released it to reel it in again.
Nick I wanna take my pops out..do u have any dates left..plus I wouldn't feel guilty about lighting a cig. We could puff stuff together and still crush some fish..please get back to me
Puff tough is what I meant not stuff lol
Just meant a cigg
