I know this is old but...Tolkien didn't create an entire language for his books. He created several entire languages, then created the books as a place for the languages to function. So he created an entire book for his languages.
Yes, you are right! Titanic and Avatar are box office smashes, but The Lord Of The Rings is hugely successful AND arguably the greatest film ever made! It's one epic masterpiece split into three parts. Having still only seen the middle third of it a DECADE after it's release is criminal! Mike, you have to watch The Lord Of The Rings!
As someone who was brought up on Tolkien and LOTR, this was too triggering. MIKE WTF ........... how the fuck does anyone NOT know the general plot of lotr though seriously...
Mike has only seen bits of The Two Towers!?! I can understand not getting into the books as they can get a bit overwhelming, but not watching two, and just watching a bit of the other (muah), of the highest grossing films of all time seems a little strange! Okay, okay okay! I understand that this logic also means that everybody should watch Titanic and Avatar, but please don't as they are just awful excuses for James Cameron to rub one out on celluloid. Each to their own I guess!
0 said it was too long because why would any non-LOTR fan be active on a LOTR page? :/ I don't think they could have made them any shorter, I just couldn't get into them. I'm not spreading hate or saying they are bad, I'm merely expressing mmy opinions..
It's Lego Hobbit that is only 2/3 in the trilogy as it was released shortly after DoS; originally BoFA was supposed to be patched in at a later date but that idea was dropped, annoyingly.
Mieke Dix wasn't The Hobbit originally unfinished by the original author anyway? I feel like if that's correct, BoFA should get a pass on technicality.
I can see why they are popular, but to me it's just 9 hours of walking, and thats the non-extended versions. I fell asleep during the second movie in the cinema and I've never fallen asleep during a film before or sinse..

No Jane, you're Isildur! Elendil is Isildur's dad, who Sauron just killed prior to this.
Can't believe this is from 2012... So long ago....
I wonder how long it took Luke to force Mike into a weekend long LotR marathon
Love your "Lets Plays", keep 'em coming!
Jane's laugh is infectious.....
Why isn't Jane shouting "You shall not pass!" Every time Gandalf puts up his shield?
it's a famous sentence from lotr that gandalf says
Mithril is a light, but very hard. It was used by dwarves, not eleven folk. Your thinking about Sting, the elven made sword passed down to Frodo.

Mike has never seen The Lord Of The Rings?! OH COME ON GUYS!
I enjoyed the use of bucolic as well… words are fun. As Tolkien would agree.
Now if only this game can be ported to modern consoles, or even get the same treatment as "The Skywalker Saga".
Can't believe no one picked up on Jane saying 'aMAIZing' while smacking lego bricks out of corn!!!
I thought you said the armies of salads lol
Love LOTR - must admit I like me a bit of hobbit fun
Isildur is the one that cut Sauron's finger
Jane called Saruman Sauron noo
so want this game love lego games and lotr so nuff said
lieutenant Jane?!-) and you call yourself british :-)
Isildur, is who you're thinking of.
Jane has a hugely impressive knowledge of lotr. Mike however.. oh dear.
Mike would so be Isildur, Andy - Gollum? Jane Gandalf
Samwise? More like Sam-dumb! :-D
This is a war crime

Watching an adult struggle in a lego game "fight" is maddening

If only that game were finished. Spoiler alert for anyone who doesn't know. It quits after the first two movies. Major disappointment.

Mieke Dix that's right! I'm sorry. Got the two mixed up. Look at that. Someone just admitted to being wrong on the internet.
Haha congratulations, you deserve an award! :L They are very similar games though, all LEGO games are.

You’d prob really hate Death Stranding although the story is so good while confusing
LOVE Lego games.... Don't like Lord of the Rings... To purchase or not...
