@@stevep8445 Well back then offenses were not so QB friendly. Not to mention defenses could get away with more stuff vs now. So QC accuracy is not too bad considering the time he played in. Like I said with today more QB friendly offenses and rules being more slanted toward offenses I would not be surprised to see his or any QBs accuracy to be higher.
He just couldn't shake his demons. Cut by Dallas for failing several drug tests and again by the Jets in 2004 and by Montreal of the CFL in 2006. Interesting note, had Carter NOT failed the drug tests, the plan was to keep him along with Drew Henson and newly acquired Vinny Testaverde in 2004. Odd man out would be Tony Romo, who was going to be cut...
I remember when he was a starter. Time flies too fast!
Could’ve been a very good QB with todays NFL offenses.
He's have to work on his accuracy though. 55-56% doesn't cut it in today's game.

I bet he’s thankful everything happened
Great Player . Great Chief Coach .
Great Mister Quincy Carter .
Quincy Carter was a good, dual threat quarterback during his time in the league
Quincy deep ball (no diddy) was immaculate
I still love Quincy Carter
I've said this before that Quincy had one of the prettiest throwing motions and the ball always looked tight a spiral
Damn...wish we had him now
He not better than Prescott lol stop 😂
Quincy "Cocaine" Carter is what we called him in Dallas back in the day. I hope he turned it around. He was a gifted athlete.
He doing pretty good he my coach
The 52nd pick in the MLB draft and the 53rd pick in the NFL draft... Almost like a poor man's Kyler Murray
Dak fans get upset when I say he was better than dak they only look at stats and wins not the talent and incredible arm he had and accuracy
Here are a few random backup QBs: Brock Berlin, Tony Pike, Richard Bartel, and Rusty Smith.
Another great video. Hope you can sometime do a video on Gus Frerotte.
If Carter stayed and did well which looked like he might have. We never would have had the Tony Romo era lol funny how things work out.
Hate the Cowboys Org but loved me some Mr. Carter
Great .
He had a cannon
Another player that had potential but just couldnt deliver
So after the Cowboys get their ass kicked in the wild card RUclips trolls me by posting this on my timeline
Quincy never got the credit he deserved. The media only focused on his drug habits.
Was decent but couldn't pass a piss test
Great .
Great .
Thanks .
