Hair loss can be really devastating, especially when you’re young, it can really affect you’re self esteem and how you see yourself. I’m really proud of him for being strong and chasing his dreams despite not looking like the typical male idol. His bald head never made me think of him differently from others, what made me look at him differently from others is his personality and presence. He looks intimidating but he doesn't want to look that way. He's literally the kindest and purest person you'll find in reality shows. You find out something new about him in every episode and it never disappoints you. He's been through so much and I am glad that he is speaking out comfortably. That's how you know the YWY3 participants are so close to each other. I have never seen anyone talking smack about his bald head so to hear him say that for 3 years he has been trying to hide his bald head as much as possible is the biggest heartbreak. I've never seen someone just breaks into pieces on stage. Sometimes the small things that people say could really break the the biggest piece of our heart. Everyone has their stories and I hope no one else in YWY3 went through such thing. I hope that every single participants always have each others' backs and no matter how competitive the stage is, I hope that they're always having fun. @@luna740 the condition is called " MARIE ANTOINETTE SYNDROME ". It is where your hair would start to turn white from the roots to the point that you actually grow white hair. It is different from your hair slowly turning gray/white-ish colour as you grow older. The Marie Antoinette Syndrome can happen in a very short amount of time, whether it is overnight, days or weeks. I don't know if this is true as I haven't found a reliable source but one movie that I watch about a girl who had the same syndrome tried to hide it by wearing a wig. She said that there was no way to change her hair colour, even by dying it. So I think that's the reason why he shaved his head rather than dying his hair.
This syndrome is obviously stressful and as you can see from the video, it could really change a person's life. Especially when he's already in the entertainment industry before he got the syndrome.
I think if he grew his hair out, it would really suit him and I hope that he could have more confidence in the future and grow it out omg.

I actually think his hair turned white cause he was under extreem stress and was probably pushing himself without much sleep. Under these conditions someones hair can turn white even if you have dark hair and theres (i think) no way to reverse it

@@illuminatedits he has alopecia, a genetic condition that makes his hair fall in strands or clumps. It's annoying, not to mention your scalp will look like it has ringworm. Better to just shave everything than have irregular patches of hair growth or different follicle lengths. Also, less bother cleaning up all that falling hair.

One day i find a grey strand hair on my laptop. I tried asking my fams about it but no one use my laptop. It's to bold for a cat hair too, it's similar to hair. Lisa wasn’t harsh at all , she was curious like everyone and she asked maybe a bit weirdly but she apologized after for asking an « intrusive » question but the others trainees and some of the mentors was really silly talking about his head ... stop shaming his story because you want lisa to look bad abd uncareful

liang sen has always been my first pick in YWY3, because his style, his presence, and his stage in the first audition was so unique; i had never ever thought that his head was disturbing. i also thought that people thought the same way as me, but i guess people made fun of him for that. he is such an amazing, talented, and brilliant trainee and shined so much to me in the first ranking. he deserves so much more and the fact that i just heard his feelings and past just makes me so angry and frustrated; just because the fact that someone has a bald head can stir up the industry makes me so mad. i cant believe this.

To be honest, the reason why he caught my curiosity at the very first episode was because he's bald yet is still so attractive at the same time. I have knew one person who also have problem about hair which is Peniel of BTOB (he loss his hair around 20+), he became sad because of his hair issue. I Can feel the pain of having white hairs right now I m 15 and my hairs started to turn out white when I was just 7 or 8 yrs . That's so hard for me to overcome this thing at that age . Who so ever meets me asks my mom oh she have got white hairs , I feel very lonely at that time . I always feel like I don't have any future .
