These places are pretty near me! Having spent 15 years here you take it for granted a bit as time goes on, but this video made me realise that I am surrounded by great history and beautiful countryside :)
Oh, those mysterious old places! You saw them in sunshine . . . but if you really want to feel the spookiness, visit on a misty, gloomy day!! You'll go home with a genuine shiver up the spine. Great video. Thanks, Sonia.
What a wonderful day Sonia had. Sadly England isn't this sunny most days of the year. But when the sun does shine, there's no place I'd rather be. Thanks for posting another most awesome video.
Fantastic video Sonia. Definitely captures the magic of the Stone Circle. We've been visiting it daily for years - still is great to see peoples reactions!
I'll be heading there this summer! Can't wait! Thanks Sonia
I`m having such a stressful time atm and then I watch one of your videos, and i feel much better! Thank you Sonia!
Thanks for the tour
It's beautiful! You will love it..
Great video. I loved Stonehenge. We did the tour after closing when you could right amongst the stone - THAT was awesome.
Thanks for another great video! You're so inspiring in the way you describe and see places.
Oh I love it there, this is why I love my gorgeous country :)
I love your channel. It makes me want to travel that much more and someday, I will.
I went here yesterday :) I highly recommend it, there’s much more to it than just looking at stones
Great video! Love the map, too!
Mystic place! I don't get tired to tell you: love your videos :)
Sheeps rocks and hills all in one place!
Your videos are amazing! I've always wanted to visit Stonehenge.
1:33 there's a horse shaped ground on the right side of the hill!
You got that right...I lived in London a bit....I dont recall a day as good as this one...nice job Sonia..I posted this on FB for a friend to see...Mike (Cornell guy also
)
Thank you! Don't know about the restaurant though :)
im so excited! going back to my mother land this summer (england) and im gonna have so much fun! your videos just make me more pumped!
My husband and I spent a month traveling over there for World Cup 98. We had a week in England, but got in a wreck on our way to Stonehenge. It wasn't our fault, and we were OK, but we did have to scrap the visit :(. On a fun + side our replacement car was English, so we got to experience the steering wheel being on the "wrong" side. It's one of our most told stories from that trip. Stonehenge is still on my list, though.
Thanks for the kind words!
I may just have to make that day trip the next time I'm in London or any other part of England. Great Video.
Awesome video :)
Happy new year!
okay!! this is so so so so fantastic!! I love this!!!! xD
I love you sonia :) you are the best !!
Thank you!!
Wow, I was in Avebury with my class two years ago! It really was magical. (: Great video!

Lovely video Sonia! So inspiring! Keep on! :) Oh, and happy new year!
Loved when I went there...love it even more now that you went there and made a video. I could watch your travels all day. Good stuff. Hope you tried some Bangers and mash with mushy peas. ;-) TO DIE FOR!
Would love to! Maybe one day..
thanks my teacher

Wow, Stonehenge is so much bigger than you see in the movies!
Great video Sonia :)
felicitaciones tus descripciones son no solo exactas sino graciosas y motivadores
Great vid, just what i wanted to know. Thanks
+cindybin2001 each to their own. I think she was doing that because its perceived as a very British thing to do. Me personally, as a Brit, I do not go to the pub nor drink beer.
+cindybin2001 no but I would say possibly a little more than say Americans. I only like going to pubs for pub grub
+cindybin2001 everyone pretty much does drink here. I don't drink but if I tell people that they think I'm crazy
Oh, the missed opportunity! The Pub...just a "stone's throw" away... :)
Newgrange in Ireland is 1000 years older than Stonehenge and way more amazing!
Hi I catch all the Paranormal there.
Thanks.
Great vid.
you should go to stonehenge to watch sunrise on winter and summer solstice, its crazy
Thanks for watching!
You will! :)
in avebury, you can just go in through the little gate and walk around the stone circle area? even though it looks like it's on a working farm?
...it would've been funny if you said the Red Lion was a "stone's throw" away ;)
It's true about being able to pass it on the way to work, I pass it loads, live about 40 minutes away!
Oh, you are not allowed to get close to the Stonehenge than _that_ ? ... :(
Findecanor they had to rope it off because disrespectful people would curved their names in the stones
Findecanor you are aloud in the winter and summer
no , because millennials will carve their name in a rock and take a pick of it for their facebook...that is why...
I love your back up it seems to be the perfect travel back pack, where did you get it?
I know it's far from now but you should travel to the World Cup in Brazil.
btw love your boots ;)
I have no idea why people bang on about the weather in London. I lived there for 23 years until last year when I moved back to Ireland and I can assure you that London is sunny for 50% of the year, no really it is. Ireland on the other is like living under a big fat cloud 365.
been there a few months ago, but it was super windy :S
Anyone know if they have CCTV there? Just for research purposes, honestly, haha. I just can´t travel there right now to check out how it´s all organised for myself.
MimM yep they transported the stones by aeroplane
How do you research before a trip?
Hi Sonia, how can i go by train to stonehenge and where should i buy the tickets to go! thankyou n.n
London Let's Visit
Stonehenge was a strange stone circle, but I thought the human circle around the stone circle is stranger than that!!
I wonder how expensive the restaurant at the restaurant end is
Tubie Boy not expensive at all
😍😍😍😍😍🖤
Like you video :) :) But it is really the highest human-made hill in europe? I thought the hill in waterloo is the highest.

Why on earth would any one want to go to Stonehenge? It's just a lot of stuck up stones. Believe me, I used to live near it! Don't waste your time going there and you've to pay to go in!!
Sylvia Black It's history, something a simple mind wouldn't understand. And it's also mysterious, the origins are not truly known and what it was truly made for.
it's coz your ignorant of britains ancient culture.
You have to pay? How much?
MimM 1 adult is £25
its really not that great
i think i know why there there. thats the stone of remembrance. from the bible. and how they got there? i dont know. maybe the had dinosaus. yes. dinosaus war with man. yes. the bible said so.
For those people writing anti alcohol comments; people who drink alcohol are healthier, happier, live longer and have more friends than teetotallers and they have more fun. So there!
