- This year is the 150th anniversary of the Scottish Cup, the worlds second oldest national cup competitions. Times have changed since the first cup with 16 teams entering the inaugural tournament. So in this video we'll be going back in time to look at these teams and ask, where are they now?

Channel is class bud. Keep it up 👌🏻
Thank you
Enjoyed this. A million and one FA Cup versions of this but not the Scottish Cup. All the best to Rovers on Sunday Callum. Mon the plastic pitches
Going to need it haha. Thank you.
Crazy to think that Queen’s Park are the third most successful team in Scottish Cup history despite not winning it since 1893 (and you say this as I’m typing 😂)
SO many good headlines for Callander FC if they still existed - Callander Year gets worse after loss, Callander flick over to new season, Callander FC shirtless calendar on sale
Staying around purely for patter reasons should be enough to keep a club going in my opinion
Off topic but Killie's league title in 64/5 was won on goal average which was the tiebreaker at the time. If it happened today, Hearts would have won as they had a much better goal difference than Killie.
Played them 4 times that season won 3 drew 1 beat then in their own ground to win title
Excellent video mate. As a lover of Scottish football history this is right up my street 👍
Thank you
Hiya Blythy,I like vlogs like these ones, mostly defunct football clubs, it seam's to me the first Scottish Cup were for Amateur teams, I've recently got into Scottish teams, my favorites are Bonnyrigg Rose, Kelty Hearts and Spartans, I've got these clubs off Sam off Footy Adventures, you should do a vlog on singers, actors and other sportsmen or women (Andy Murray had trials for Rangers but turned to tennis instead) who almost turned into pro footballers, keep up the good work Blythy, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
Thank you.
I hope this is about the teams otherwise it will be pretty depressing 😂
It’s about the teams but even then it’s depressing 😂

After winning the Scottish cup in 1888 Renton beat English cup winners West Brom to become un- official World Champions
Yes, Footy Adventures has an excellent video on Renton
Great video, Just one thing. Cathkin isn’t abandoned. Jimmy Johnstone Academy use and maintain it
Oh aye so they do. Footy Adventures did a video on that. Thanks for pointing that out.
@@CallumBlyth no bother mate.
Unfortunately now all fenced up too
All in Scotland, who knew.
Well I would think the first
Scottish Cup winning players would be dead, buy this point, so I am going to guess in a cemetery, lol.
Vlog titles can be open to interpretation, lol.
I’d be amazed if anyone was alive then and is still alive now, unless we’re counting time travellers
All the teams from Glasgow and the west,,,,just shows west of Scotland just seems to love fitba mair,,,,,not a dig just an observation and seems not much has changed.
Why didnt rangers compete in the first scottish cup?
Honestly, no idea. Plenty of other clubs were around that didn’t compete.
@@CallumBlyth administration??
Steam or electric m8?
Steam trains are cool but electric is the future
