I completely agree with you on this deck. I had brushed it off up until recently when I saw another unboxing of it, and something about it sparked my interest. I just received it, and I am loving it so much! It’s so well done, and the guidebook is excellent. The first few readings I have done have been so insightful, clear, and much deeper than I had expected. I’m so glad I decided to give it a chance and bought it.
@@oldsoulmermaid1543 are the backs of your deck several different shades of purple? Mine is very inconsistent. I was thinking of getting a 2nd copy so I could try to put together a deck with more cohesive backs, and keep the rest as a backup. Is that weird? 😃
@@oldsoulmermaid1543 It made me laughing several times just by watching your flip through...The Eight of Wands, for example, is hilarious! I absolutely agree with you, this seems to be another Masterpiece.
It is disappointing. I’m thinking of buying another copy in the future when they have had a chance to do another printing. Hopefully, Hay House gets a clue. I did contact them about this issue I had with two of their decks and they sent me a $20 credit.
I am usually not a fan of the animal heads on people bodies thing, super creepy. However....I have been eyeing this one because some of the cards just literally crack me up, like the chariot. The colors are also amazing. I don't have any of her other decks, just don't appeal to me but, pretty sure I will be picking this one up.....even though I still think a lot of them are creepy 😆
I hear you! Lots of people have the same issue with type of character, but there is so much color, life, and humor here! You just can’t help but crack up and smile when you go through this deck 😆
I love the artwork of this deck and is waiting on it as we speak but after watching so many reviews, I've come to see a mistake on the Ten of Swords that is annoying me. It isn't even that bad but the deck not being uniform is not my jam. All minor arcana cards have their own symbol up top but for some reason the Ten of Swords is the only card (and major arcana cards) having the number (10) instead of a sword.

I'm really torn on this deck. I can't say I like the art style and just... general of the look of it. But it's a CHRIS-ANNE deck and I have all 3 of the other ones and adore them. So I'm sure the guidebook is amazing, but.... I have so many reservations because I'm not drawn to the imagery. But I'd kind of wanted to buy every deck she puts out...
Hmm 🤔…that’s a dilemma! I would say hold off unless you get it for purely collecting purposes. If you don’t like the art you are not going to be called to work with it. The good thing is, it’s a mass market deck, so it’s not going anywhere soon!

Mine also had the same damage ☹️ I do love the unique deck. But it does bother me that it damaged peeled. Thank you for your honest reviews
