You might want to try that on a much firmer surface. A cutting mat will flex and not provide much resistance to the tip that you’re trying to bend.

I think i will try this, and i will make sure the coin i use has no ridges on its edge

If you ever drop an airbrush on its nose again, without the needle protector cap, you'll be permanently barred from ever entering my shop.
