Because of you I pray the St Gertrude prayer every day for the Holy Souls in purgatory. This was back in November. Since then my life has changed. I pray the rosary daily. I often cry during and after receiving at Mass. I was an awful sinner living the majority of my life in mortal sin. Something has changed in me. I started crying just now writing this.

Hello! Thanks for sharing! I also had a similar experience. My conversion was very recent, after a very vivid and frightening dream were I was condemned to hell. Since than I pray the Rosary everyday, go to Mass, Confessed, etc. My life brutally changed! And I lived most of my life in mortal sin. It wasn't easy to confess a lifetime of Sins...it was crazy! I spent many months trying to remember all. But now I try to leave in grace. I avoid all sins that are conscious, like online porn, fornication, drunkness, etc. But sometimes it's hard to avoid some sins that are more unconscious, like imagine things. But am a little tired of have to confess masturbarion, that still happens once in while...😅 I also pray a lot and study the life of Saints and the Holy Mary apparitions. It's funny how Catholics have so many treasures and most of them are unaware of most...🙏

Another great video. I've struggled with certain types of sin for most of my 60+ years on this earth. Several months ago I began praying the St. Michael prayer along with the Litany of Humiluty daily. The urges of this sin of mine have all but been erased from my being. I am so grateful to St. Michael for answering my prayers.

St. Michael fought against Lucifer during the Rebellion. He might have been the first one to defend God and accepted Him as He is. He's already pretty impressive.

St. Simon Stylites was suspected of pride, and so some elders told him to come down from his pillar. When he started to come down, they knew he was humble and so they told him to remain on his pillar. He is also the one who invented rice pilaf. Ok that last part was a joke.

My middle name is Gail. I was reading about names and patrons. They said Gail is short for Abigail and my patron is Abba Father. So I started praying the Eternal Father prayer. Sometimes I substitute Abba for Father.
My beloved Father, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Be thou my Father. Be always my eternal Father. Do not leave my soul. Do not abandon me. Do not leave me out of Your sight, my Father. For I am Your child whom You have created to please You, to adore You, to honour You, living my days as You have given me the license to live it. I offer to You my Fiat, through Mary, to Jesus, to You, Eternal Father.

Beautiful. I recently received a St. Michael chaplet from my sister but haven't started saying it regularly. I know I need to work on humility so this must have been a gentle gift from Mother for me. I do love the chaplet as one of the promises is that one angel from each of the 9 choirs accompanies you as you receive the Eucharist. I love that! St. Michael help me to become humble.

I used the st michael chaplet once to pray against a cult my husband once belonged to. Within a month, they had all scattered to the 4 winds. This was back in the early 90s. I pray it daily now. When the war broke out in Ukraine, I prayed it for them. I ask St Joan of Arc for help too. The Russians are in so much trouble.

That is so charitable of you. Could you pray it 9 times ? for my twin sister and my older sister whom are both practising daily witchcraft to nasty outcomes.
I usually pray it only for myself and to stop they're attacks over me which are constant.
I am praying for their conversions quiet seriously, but im on my own with this.

I was never technically scared of heights. But I do know something of what you went through.
When I hired in with Southwestern Bell 🔔 in 1999, I had to learn to climb telephone poles, up to “only” 16’. First we used gaffs. My mother would always go dry at only 6’. Still, as nervous as I was, I was still able to pass the test, when the day came.
After that, which is after they weeded out everyone who couldn’t conquer their fear of heights, we learned how to climb stepped poles, such as what you climbed. I didn’t need any saint’s help. No problem.
Then someone (named “Buck”) invented the “Bucksqueeze”, which is like a belt that wraps around the pole. Next time I went up to re-certify (never having climbed any poles since my initial certification), using the bucksqueeze, I always felt just as secure as having my two feet planted firmly on the ground. Amazing.
So then, the phone company started having the students, who were scared of heights, pass the initial pole climbing test using the bucksqueeze, but then fail the test where they had to climb 🧗 the poles using the steps.
Sorry. Big digression. Your story brought back memories.

From what I’ve learned recently, Guardian Angels are the lowest choir of angels, with Archangels being directly above that.
Yet St. Michael was STILL able to cast Lucifer, from the highest choir of angels, the Seraphim, out of heaven.

    • @SunflowerSanctuary
      @SunflowerSanctuary Месяц назад +2

The choirs of angels are ranked in accordance with how closely they are to God in a physical sense (i.e. the Seraphims are beside God glorifying Him eternally whilst the Guardian Angels are tasked to watch over and guide us). However, from my understanding, even though an Angel is in a lower choir, that does not mean they are any less powerful. In fact, every Angel is uniquely made by God with distinguishable characteristics. We know though that the three Archangels St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, hold a prominent place across the 9 choirs, given how they are described in the Bible and were greatly involved in the key moments or God’s divine plan!
