I can't imagine they'd knew how popular they were going to be years and years later. I don't think when they started their Wiggly Career that they'd one day be singing their childhood songs to a sold out concert of full on adults with them singing the lyrics back to them and along with them with so much joy and happiness. This concert you can tell was FILLED with the 'children' that grew up with them from the beginning. I wish I could go to one of these because I'd be sobbing. You can see it on their faces when they all first come out that they knew they made everyone's childhood brighter for them to have an OG reunion tour

It's the same kind of thing with the Pokémon anime/video games, none of the original dubbed cast thought the show would still be going on 25 years later and now they're meeting fans who grew up watching them and bring their kids to meet the voice actors they grew up with.

I am a mom of a child who grew up with the OG Wiggles; she cannot be bothered with them now, but I LOVE them! So glad to see that Greg is singing again.
My mum was just talking about this the other day. She and my aunt took myself, my brother, and my cousins to see them back in the early days when they were playing in local town halls. Then she took my other 2 siblings to a show back in the mid-2000s. Now, here we are and my nephew watches them. She said she didn't think she would be sitting at home almost 30 years later watching her 2, 30 year olds teach her grandchild the songs and dances. She thought once the OGs retired, that would be it for them.
I grew up with the OGs. I would do anything to see them again. Dorothy, Wags, and Henry were my imaginary friends when I was a kid. Still love them

These guys were my childhood, and probably the reason why I became a musician! It fills me with joy seeing the original members come together to play the songs that defined our youth!
I have lots of favorite moments in this video. But, one of my favorite moments has to be the introduction! The crowd starts singing fruit salad, then each of the Wiggles comes out and the crowd goes crazy! But, when the crowd goes absolutely insane for Greg it almost brought me to tears! Seeing them all singing and dancing on stage after all these years, and everything they have been through, shows how talented they are and why their fandom loves them and these songs after all these years.
I am from the USA and I grew up with the OG wiggles! Everything from their tv shows to all their specials and I got to see them in concert once! Reading comments from people that got to see them at this concert, especially those that did not get the opportunity when they were younger, makes my heart sing!

I love that too, ever since Greg's cardiac arrest in 2020, the crowd goes nuts for him now whenever he comes out. I'm glad he's made a full recovery and is now an ambassador for heart health, learning CPR, and making AEDs more available there in Australia and has now been made one here in the US too.

My 19 year old absolutely *adored* The Wiggles when he was young, as most kids did back in the early 2000's. We actually finally were able to go see them in 2006 which was the tour where Greg needed to bow out because he was sick. Even though we weren't able to experience the OG lineup, the show did not disappoint! I still get teared up remembering seeing the pure excitement on my sons face when the show started. And boy did we DANCE!! It's so great to see that they reunited for a string of shows last year!
The Wiggles were the reason why i got into music. I remember watching Anthony playing the drums at 4 years old, and it was the exact moment I told my parents "I want to play the drums"
I like that they let greg play guitar for "get ready to wiggle" last time he danced to that song it ended with him on the floor struggling to breathe when he went backstage to get water i should be more specific if you aren't a wiggles super fan like me during the bushfire relief concert after get ready to wiggle greg had a heart attack his life was saved because a nurse in the audience noticed greg was showing the signs of a heart attack and started cpr Murray said greg wasn't feeling well but noone knew how bad it was at one point you see anthony look backstage and you hear "greg?" Anthony said he ended up having a panic attack then had another one the next day when telling greg what happened because he didn't remember
Well that's actually a good relief that he's actually doing great right now IRL because when I read this comment, I honestly kinda feel very worried about him though honestly 😟 but it's actually very scared to all of them though especially Anthony though 😰

The OG Wiggles Reunion Tour was a BIG Hit last year, and the show I went to in Sydney was AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOME I Love you Anthony 🩵 Murray ❤️Jeff 💜and Greg💛 They really sure do know how to sing, and dance and they’re never to old to Wiggle.

Greg was like my own personal superhero when I was little. When he left in 2006 I seriously was devastated for weeks. I watched all the tv specials over and over. My favorite was the Steve Irwin one:( seeing this makes me want to cry:)
The Steve Irwin one was my favorite too! I still have it on VHS somewhere in my house and I guiltily pleasure have the songs downloaded to my phone to listen to when I need a Wiggles Pickmeup :)

i think the best part about the og guys is their amazing chemistry that they all have with each other, it is one of the most magical things and it all began over 30 years ago when greg was just 19
Not sure how, but my childhood came back to me recently from the RUclips recommendations and I’m happy to see the Wiggles I remember back together. Got me wanting to watch the show again if Disney has it up for streaming. Never grow up boys and girls, always stay young👍

just went down a Wiggles rabbithole today, didn't even know that they did a reunion tour. i would go crazy if they did one in the US!
They need to come to the US. Only issue is my kids are obsessed with the OG’s and these reunion shows are 18+ only! I would feel bad going to see them without my kids 😂
@@JP_7784I don’t know how old your kids are but these shows were 15+. Probably still too big of an age limit but they might have to do all ages in the USA to sell out all the tickets!
