It’s awesome to see you documenting your progress cause most people just show the final art and everyone thinks they figured it in a day 🙌 Keep leveling up 🙌
This is amazing! Loving watching your progress. The grease pencil scares me so to watch someone conquer it at the beginning of their journey is heaps inspirational!
You're getting better every project! The end result blew me away, well done! I love that you decided to do coloured outlines, it really ads to the softness and coziness of the final animation🙏
It's cool to see someone step out of their comfort zone and actually stick with it. This looks super cool. Happy new year Daisy 🌼 Lets have a successful year 😁
Ngl, your journey is pushing me to explore aspects of Blender I did not know enough about. Looks like I gotta spend some time with the grease pencil :)
I really can't imagine how you're able to work on a project over a long period of time, i'm unable to do that I'm just impressed, if i don't do it in one sitting i would never finish, kudos.
Man, I love a good toon shader gives very cosy vibes. Nice work doing something with grease pencil as well, Ive never been confident in my line work to want to even try using it haha
Frankly, these channels (or video genre?) are great along with the main tutorials videos. Seeing someone use said-tutorial and the experimentation involved helps lower our expectations and create a better sense of what we'll be doing when practicing/learning.
Great work. The render turned out really well! Toon-shader with the line art and some perspective. It looks super cute. I love it, keep it up!!😊 I've seen some comments mentioning it already, but most of the times blender autosaves the hole blend file. "File" --> "Recover" --> "Autosave" and look under "Date modified". My English is not great. It's not my first language. 😬
that looks cool. you can try animating it using simple pop in playing around scale. and some float on the rest of the elements. you can also try light linking if you wanna light certain elements differently
Doing line art like you did by hand works very well. Another cool procedural way to have a "hand drawn feel" is to use the Line Art modifier of the Grease Pencil, and then add a Noise modifier on top. Remove randomization, and play with the settings to achieve something to your liking.
You should be proud of this! Badass work of art. Please do a tutorial on the toon shader. I can't seem to get it to look like that, like 2D/3D. The shader when I try it looks like coffee grains
hey big tip! your blender crashes, blender actually stores a back up so when it happens open blender - filer - recover - auto save. blender saves about every 2 mins but you can change this in the settings. do not re open your files, just straight to recover.
2:08 if i remember there's an autosave feature. File> (..open from autosave) ive forgotten. It will take you to the temp folder. There youll see autosave.blend or something similar. As long as you dont disable autosave by default it will remain on
The end result does make it feel much more 2D than 3D, lol. In other news, I'd probably be on Blender 4.x if the new EEVEE didn't make my laptop crash the whole time, lol. That's why I'm on 3.6.9.
Currently i am facing a problem as a professional 3d artist , that the 3d job market is crunching , i tried to find about job posting in last 24 hrs on linkedin and found only 15 jobs posting worldwide. This thing making me to think about the existence in upcoming years of 3D art demand.
I've learned to accept that my programs will always eventually crash so I always have my fingers on Ctrl+S after every change I make to a model. The end result looked amazing which inspired me to want to try it myself! Also, love your FF shirt with the moogle! Where did you get it?
Was working on a piece a few days ago, was completely in the zone and forgot to save. Blender then crashed for seemingly no reason and now I have another abandoned project in the files..
Blender is too hard for me however i am skilled at drawing and have a wacom intuos pro which could be used for sculpting... just the interface is confusing,.. what program / solutions do commenters recommend
Considering your end results are really close to the 2D art you were trying to recreate- I would really take the time to properly credit the artist/illustrator! They go by Moonlume everywhere online!
"delete the default cube and add a cube"
She's already learned so much!
😂
We all the same lol ha ha. Learning and failing and learning different views on that cube lol ha ha ❤
One of us! One of us! One of us!!! 👏
The scientifically-proven to be the best way to start any project in Blender!
For future reference, if blender crashes and it will, it usually has an automatic backup u can open under File -> Recover -> Autosave
@CashewNut-g9j yes great tip! I will definitely do this next time thank you ❤️
And make sure it's not going to a thumb drive
It’s awesome to see you documenting your progress cause most people just show the final art and everyone thinks they figured it in a day 🙌 Keep leveling up 🙌
@PatrickNanEdits thank you :) I am happy to be on this authentic journey with everyone
Man, you are doing so well. I still haven't mastered grease pencil. But I'm doing toon shading a different way, using the old school features.
@Entikai thank you!! Yes definitely a new challenge to add 2D elements but I’m sure you’re doing awesome as well!

@@jamilecfelix Definitely ❤️ working on some videos coming out soon
Beautiful! Your art now definitely makes sense!
Thank you!!
Great end result, I am yet to explore grease pencil fully myself....maybe I will give it a go after watching this! :)
The end result was definitely worth it. Loved the finished product!
Happy New Year! Really cute video and final product. I love the Earthbound music :)

That's so cool! I def need to learn Grease Pencil this year.
You totally should! It's so fun to use!

Well done, Daiz :3 nice&inspiring, a good one to start the new year with 💥

Thank you! Line stabilizer helps a ton and having an external tablet!

Yes! A lot of times tutorials gloss over actually adding the settings so I definitely will make a vid soon!
I feel like you found your style with this. Great work! 🚀
I miss your tutorials. It's very nice again.👍👍👍
Pretty cool result! I was hoping to see a little more about your discovery of the grease pencil, because it totally mystifies me! Either way, cheers!
It’s not too bad! I’ll talk more about it in a future video soon
@daizday great, thanks for the reply!
You gained a new fan from Brazil 💕
Yay!! So exciting thank you ❤️
quick tip: when your blender crush go to files>recovey>last saasion or try auto save it will diract you to folder where autosve files are
@padzmusicdd so helpful thank you! Im just now learning this haha 😆
Amazing video! Happy New Year lovely! ❤
@sysinacgi ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Yes please make a video about toon shaders and grease pencil
1:12 when my client asks where the deliverables are
😂 too funny
That look really fun apart from the crashs( crashs are never fun.) keep it up.
4:30 would look rather cool in stereo 3D
I would enjoy tutorials on toon shaders and grease pencil🤗
A little bit better everyday - keep it up 💪
Thank you ^^ Yes, small steps every day
use version lt in blender; for me is bettler because if more probably no crashes, and always use autosave
Well done

Daisy: Hi, I am Daisy.
Me: Man I would like to do Daisy.
This is why you have never dated a woman in your life son
very nice!
can you do a video testing leading generative 3D models? have you adapted any of those in your workflow?
I got on beta testing for a software that does this. I will share anything I find actually useful...
Great video again would like to see a beginner tutorial!
Thanks! I will work on it! ~
Love seeing your progress! Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to seeing more in 2025!
Thank you so much! So excited for this next year with all of you :)
Great work. Btw could you make a video about your feelings related to idea of AI replacing 3D artists ?
It won't... at least for now
AI art is here and artists still hold up quite well so just think about that
really dope
Omg I wish i had a friend like you. lol
Really cool!
As a schlong time blender user, you doing good - keep deleting those default cubes, they are gross! Haha :D the end result looks really cute!
Thank you so much :)
well, I lie if I say I choose this channel only because of blender
"Hi, I'm Daisy" - ah yes, a Double Dash fan haha!
😂 Daisy Cruiser is my vibe
@@daizday 🤎 nice!
You can also use grease pencil "to curve". After that, you can add thickness to curve and you can get some ropes / strings. It is fun to play with
Ooo interesting
Que bonito, gracias yutu por permitir la traduccion autonatica, aunque suena como robot xd, pero igual funciona.
love your vids ❤
ur killin it :D

@SongOfLife_ happy new year :)
daily life of a blender user experience
bro that light mode tho, it's burning my eyes
honestly, I respect the pure moxie of using blender light mode
2:10 this is the exact reason i got ctrl + s tattooed on my forearm.
I still hate auto save and I get punished for it every day
Happy New Years
Happy New Year :)

Awesome vid Daisy! Collab? Yay? Nay? Small Creator n Small Creator? Could be fun!
Cute
No dark mode is wild.
You can do File -> recover auto save if it crashes,

Thank you! I will credit them in my description! I could not actually find the og artist so I showed the Pinterest post
