Yeah seems like there’s not a high enough pigment load for a ‘professional’ range, and they try to hide it with brighteners which is so not cool. I’m glad I tried a better brand first, it blew my mind first time I used the good stuff.
I really enjoy the formula but yes, I agree that the pigment strength is very middle of the road. More than students grade but not as much as most artists grade. I'm doing a video in just a bit on the comparison between these and galleria, as well as showing my artwork I produced with these paints.
I have just discovered your channel and watched your excellent review of the Matisse Structure Acrylics and would love to know how they compare to WN Galleria Acrylics 🥰🙏🖌
I wanna try the galaria colours of winsor and newton. I wanna compare it whit the liquitex basics
I actually have filmed a video on the Winsor & Newton galeria acrylic and will post soon . I had used both galeria and basics years ago and I honestly prefer the galeria. I think they are a step above the basics with better adhesion too.

@@marcinmuszalski6359 video should be up this weekend ☺️ If they stink definitely let me know please . Id like to know if it’s normal or if there’s something wrong with mine . Even with the stink the paint performed OK. As in , it set and cured and dried normally. And I was able to varnish over without anything lifting up when I was all finished.

Thanks Nicole Martin Arts. I dicided that i am going to paint only now whit winsor and Newton galaria acrylic paints cause liquitex basics is getting expensiver its crazy. I pay for 1 tube of liquitex basics acrylic paint of 250 ml 22,49😱 and i pay for winsor and Newton galaria acrylic paint the 500 ml jars 13,80 for 500 ml so its a big win for me and my art if i go whit Winsor and Newton galaria acrylic paints.
