The best tutorial on swimming breaststroke that I've seen anywhere. Clear, detailed explanation. The timing, the different parts , breathing - everything. Thank you so much. Fantastic!
thank you sir. I have watched multiple swimming tutorial videos and have realised that your channel has the most detailed theoretical explanation for everything, no other channel comes even close to you on that expect. thanks again. very helpful.
Definitely the best & most practical tutorial available on RUclips Been suffering to learn breaststroke for 4 days and able to do it on the 5th day in a 25m pool, only after watching and following your guidance very carefully Thanks for such a great video!

Me watching the video: Ah 4 steps. Got it. Easy Me jump to the pool: blumblumblum ooh I'm out of breath..legs violently moving around..I'm sinking..haaalp
Thank you very much. I have a swim test for summer camp, and I needed to know all of the strokes. I never learned this one, so this video was a big help
Very nice tutorial. All beginners should know that it takes a lot of practice to feel confident in any stroke. So do many many laps. Aim to get the timing right. Exercise well before diving into the pool. Practice, learn from your coach, practice, learn from co-swimmers, practice, learn from RUclips, practice and then you are perfect.
Great understandable tutorial, liked subbed and for sure will be using again for hopefully progression. Thank you for taking the time to make and share .
I have been learning Swimming for quite some time. Already attended 8 classes and somehow swim little bit. But my stupid instructor never explained in what sequence I am supposed to do all this. Today is my ninth class and after seeing this video I feel more confident.
I go to swimming classes every Saturday and today is Saturday and my teacher doesn't go in the water and teach us. Her instructions are not clear this is going to help me thank you!
I have a problem of sinking too deep after taking a breath, making it harder to go up again for the next breath, because I would be a little too far from the surface. A swim coach used to tell me that my body density is high. Is that a factor in regards to my problem? Or is my breaststroke technique the issue here?
Everyone's body density is roughly the same. It's a technique issue; don't pull too much and don't let your hands go past your head/shoulders. Some people describe this as not letting your elbows go too far back.
@Luke Seed thank you! I’ve been experiencing the same issue. I was thinking that my elbows are probably too far behind. What you’re saying makes perfect sense.

i find the most difficult part is when coming up to get air - I get it in my mouth and am afraid to swallow the water...could one somehow practice just this part holding to an edge of the pool?
You could try locking a float in your legs and keep constantly practising the breathing. If not just keep trying the fear of swallowing water will probably make you better
Can anyone explain how to breathe actually? Q1. Should I start breath out when under the water? Q2. Should I keep breathing out when raise my head? Q3. How to avoid water get into mouth when breathing in? Thanks for answering 😢
@@zoachim Sounds like you're trying to do the exhale and then breath in again in the very short time your head is out of the water. When your head is out of the water breath in, when your head dips under the water slowly breath out during the glide, then when your head comes out of the water you're ready to breath in straight away, rather than trying to quickly breath out and in again. It's not easy, but keep practising and you'll get there.
Thanks for the great videos! I'm 50 y/o and joined a swim club last year. This is the best explanation of the breast stroke I've seen!

You're the Best swimmer
No wonder some said bs is hard. Having these 4 parts coordinated takes time and drill.
Thank you. The best tutorial :)
my biggest problem is to coordinate all these 4 movements together. What helps reset my brain is gliding longer.

A di đà Phật...
I have a question
Should I go for breathing after every pull or do as many pools I can holding my breath
dude ..for each stroke, you need to take a breath .You hold your breath only on the slide for 2-3 seconds then a sharp exhalation and again inhale
@@ivanbrawl6200 dude are you not hyperventilating when breathing this fast?? I can't do it for long
