He’s been playing this song for over 20 years… even though there’ll never be a performance like the first take, he always makes it fresh and new. He always keeps the SIGNATURE FILLS though! ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE BEST TO EVER DO IT in Gospel!!! Much respect to this guy!
Yes but that's not the same drummer. He has changed his playing drastically and its not better. The way he played before was unmatched. Now it's just noise. No offense
The Event is 2 Bands Collab as one. This case being Maverick City Music X Kirk Franklin. Harold Brown being MCM’s Drummer HB plays Main Parts for their songs while Terry Baker plays auxiliary type parts and Vice Versa for Kirk Franklin’s songs, TB plays main parts and HB Auxiliary. So yes each play a role, I went to their concert live the first night of the Kingdom Tour and I promise it all makes sense, you’re able to pull this off when each Musician is Disciplined and can come together and make Heavenly Music together!
My question to you is, why not? It's more challenging and forces you to play with more thought and intention since you're only getting half of the pie. As well, the setlist had a blend/mix of Kirk Franklin songs, and MAV songs... so they took turns between main groove and AUX parts.

Terry Baker is playing this song exactly like how he played it on the original record 🔥🔥
With a little improvision
No he didn't.
Funny every drummer learnt how to play this song and to get the chance to play with Kirk is amazing
I know this is a drum channel but the bass was the best thing on the whole video
Not sure about the "best thing" but yes, Matt Ramsey is amazing!
If you think this about the bass, then you underrate the original bass performance from 20 years ago - the foundation for this one.
That drummer is really enjoying the worship experience.
Matt Ramsey is a beast on that bass.
Terry Baker is in a different league man! After all these years.
Matt Ramsey 🙌🏽
I liked the way the guy who’s a back up singer 0:09 knew the bass lick was coming 👌🏽
the fill at 1:33... Matt Ramsey is a BEAST on bass.
The lines at 3:08 are new and so freshh 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Super excited. He’s an Amazing drummer.
1:32 bass killer
3:08 that riff felt good in the room.
This is how you PLAY THE SONG. Play your part.

¿What's the name of the song? ¿It's in Spotify?
🤣 The women swinging there arms back and forth are hypnotic
🔥
Where can i watch this vídeo?
Nobody will every play like the original drummer lol. It’s such an easy song to get excited with.
But, Terry Baker IS the original drummer, though…
Yes but that's not the same drummer. He has changed his playing drastically and its not better. The way he played before was unmatched. Now it's just noise. No offense
Is that Marcus Hodge on keys??
No sir, on Keys that is Sam Simon from Florida.
really incredibel -see you on my side. ;))
At 1:15 i kind of expect a sweet fill there, but he pocketed it, albeit good all round performance
That’s a controlled drummer right there
Professional. The fill would have been nice. I was looking for it. But I also appreciate the control
@@josiahorleans-lindsay5673 exactly🙏🙏
What cymbal brand is that
Terry Baker is playing Sovereign Cymbals
Thumbnail hade me like when did Josiah grow a beard😂😂😂😂
Why is there 2 drummers? Do they actually play the same thing at the same time or each has it’s different job?
I wonder too. I see no purpose for 2. I can understand a percussionist along with the drummer

@@LevenskyDrummer thanks so much for this bro I was so confused when I looked at it but this all make perfect sense now
The other Drummer plays for Mevrick City but on this session is feeling in
I need an answer tonthis why do people use 2 drums in videos

I knew Mav drummer wasn’t actually playing
He is playing, just not the main part. 😊
What about varo but still Terry and harold are 🔥
It seems like the singers forget the lyrics on Sunday again. Real church drummers know what I'm talking about 🤣
