@@yaboyj2191 You always side with Del as he's desperate to have a better life and move away from his squalid council flat. We cheered when he finally became a millionaire in 1996.
I think that the producers went too far When the trotters eventually became millionaires in the Christmas '96 Special time on our hands and when they walked off into the sunset 🌇 That was enough They shouldn't have taken it any further I think that they tore the ass out of it
It could of went on forever if it was just the lads, the girls ruined it made it boring All it was after they came in was relationship issues and bickering
@@dominicharkin1637 Yeah maybe one episode a few years down the line after they became millionaires to see how they were getting on, putting them in debt and making them lose it all was a stupid way to go
To be fair, writing a movie script is one of Del's sanest plans

producers went too far YES you are 100% right when they won all that money they should have left it at that and on a good note.
I thought that, too, Bill. It was a fantastic comedy but should have ended after they sold the watch at the auctioneers.
It should have ended with them being millionaires forever

Is this from the 3 instantly forgettable terrible specials after the good "pocket watch in the auction" finale?
