same exact rust out on my 04 mazda pickup.....auto zone will have the flange for me tomorrow.....I knew there had to be a better solution than replacing the cat. thanks for the video
How did you get lucky enough to get the bolt holes to line up? I bought all the parts, cleaned everything and went to install and realized they don't line up
I didn't have any issues lining up the adjustable flange with the holes. You should be able to move the adjustable flange to line up with the bolt holes.
I think in the case of my situation if I did alter the split flange (instead of 3 and 9. o'clock position) the original flange may interfere with the bolt alignment. However, I'm not sure.

buy 2 flanges and use those like the bread of a sandwhich
