Tbh, apart from the beast that is Haaland when he's afforded space, City don't look invincible. Vulnerable to counter-attacks and, surprisingly enough, faced with a nine-man low block, looked unimaginative and repetitive. Pep looked extremely concerned yesterday.
Arsenal take a point away from arguably the most difficult ground in Europe, something which Man City failed to do in the reverse fixture last year yet somehow Man City are being praised for a draw against 10 men Arsenal. Change the video title to “Man City narrowly escape embarrassing result at home against the 10 men mighty Arsenal”
Because the City games are two of the most important games for Arsenal to have an actual chance to win the league. They need all 6 points. Otherwise, they're bottling it again for a third straight year.

So based on Micah’s thoughts on Walker not being ‘set’ for Calafiori’s goal. Should Liverpool’s ‘corner taken quickly’ goal against not have counted because Barcelona were not ‘set’? Barcelona were in position, but not set. Walker was in position, but not set. It’s not like the referee said play on immediately, Walker had time. And Martinelli was so wide in his position anyway because he was prepared that Walker would have needed additional time to mark him in the first place.

Maybe if Arsenal hadn’t had to play with a day less rest after traveling midweek while City did not, they would have had less cramps after playing 55 minutes with 10 men.
Another week, another episode where you spend a huge amount of time discussing Man City and almost completely ignore Southampton, Ipswich, Leicester, and Everton. There is alot to talk about with all those clubs. Well worthy of five minutes between them!
Liverpool got 4 early red cards last season over 3 games and got 6 points out of them (only lost last second with 9 men vs spurs). You can still win with 10 men.
The ref literally pointed for Doku to kick the ball back. Yes he didn’t kick it back precisely but had he left it where it was it would have taken Arsenal about the same time to get it and then play it from the right position. Good judgment call there in my opinion. Which is exactly what Arsenal were asking for in the previous incident involving Rice. Which still should have been a yellow but one for the Brighton player too. Trossard was a deliberate boot up the field. Very different.
Why does that HAVE to be 'something going on' for Rashford to be ROTATED?? Is there 'something going on' at City when the same happens with Foden, or Bernardo, Or Grealish, or Doku, or whoever else? We've actually got 3 legitimate options for the wings right now, and a combination of all 3 have started games so far, it's THAT simple
Its actually pathetic at this point. Though Shearer still feels bitter about Ten Hag speaking back at him after the cup final so has to try to create something. He has no insight whatsoever but is using his unfathomable influence to keep pushing a weird agenda. Its quite, quite petty.
It turns out that Arsenal's defense ain't that good if Arteta tells them to push up and press their opponent. That is exactly what happened for that first goal and that got utterly exposed. You can kind of understand why Arteta did it after getting utterly lambasted and ripped apart by pretty much everyone in the media last season for not having a go at The Etihad. Well, he had a go this time, got the lead but unfortunately for him and Arsenal their discipline really cost them. I guess that's progress, but my word do Arsenal under Arteta do progress in piecemeal amounts. Some times it feels like 2 steps forward and 1 step back with them.
This Chelsea has to many players narrative needs to stop they have a squad of 25. Attacking wise they have two LW two RW two 10s and two strikers. Literally ever other club in the league has the same cover i just dont get this constant they have to many players thing as it simply isnt true.

Man City in the 2nd half did nothing offensively, De Broyne and Rodri were such a big miss for them, but on the other hand, Arsenal did fantastic defensively.
The question no one is asking is did the ref give Trossard the second yellow for the barging challenge rather than for kicking the ball away? Trossard steams in knocking the player to the floor and the ref blows for a free kick then Trossard hoofs the ball away. I'm inclined to think he had already decided to give him a second yellow for the foul
It's been confirmed that the yellow card was for kicking the ball away. The referee had gestured for a free kick for the foul but was not reaching to get a card out.
Amazing how easy it has become to dislike Arsenal and their fans. Used to hope for anyone to please beat City. Well now it’s anyone but Arsenal. Oh and United too!😅
Is that the new rule now? City will inform the ref when they are ready to carry on with play? Wow, they already had a lot going for them in the officiating stakes, this will take it to a whole new level.
Absolutely disgraceful you spend 1/2 the show talking about city vs arsenal and zero time in Ipswich vs Southampton. I know they have the least interest- but come on. Do better!!
Man City didn't break our hearts, Michael Oliver did. He did his best to hand the victory over to what he obviously perceives as the best team and the team that deserves to win (regardless of actual on field play). I cancelled my TV subscription last year due to terrible officiating and watched this in a pub. "Doku, you're fine, Trossard, yer outta here!!!"
The nonsense around a quick free kick is ridiculous. He walked back into position. Pep said as much. City can do no wrong. Re. Dark Arts, City are on trial currently. And every good team would slow the game down with 10 men. Liverpool didn't and got thumped.
Shocking ref! All we want is consistency!!! Trossard kicked the ball not even a second after the whistle blew ! You can also see he’s trying to pull away when he is kicking the ball but his foot is already going through the ball. Use common sense or at least be consistent in the decisions. Personally I don’t think the offence warrants the decisions to destroy the game
Arsenal's game plan was to remove Rodri. Once that happened Arsenal started playing. Before that, it was looking spooky. They defended well, but you put yourself at risk if you think you're gonna keep City out for 50 minutes in their ground. City were not very good in that second half, Pep should have left the wingers on. But well played from Arsenal.
Think what’s more controversial about the Arsenal goal is that it was taken 10m further up the pitch. The ref should have pulled it back to take it where the foul happened. 10m is a big difference compared to a couple feet
Didn't Arsenal kick up a hooly when Newcastle used time wasting tactics a couple of seasons ago in a 0-0 draw, yet what did they do yesterday, funny how it's exceptable when you do it yourself. Hypocrites! Well done City and an easy 3 points to come at SJP in the next game

Listening to all these pundits saying City players did not attempt to undrlap in the second half but just passing the ball around makes me think if they actually understand the game at all. One thing Man City players are very great at is that underlap runs. But, there was no space to do that against Arsenal - no space to run into at all.

Come on you !
Unbelievable how biased the media pundits are towards City.
What’s unbelievable about it
@@markholohan4446 did you hear how happy the commentators were when city equalised, they couldn't contain thier joy. It wasn't just excitement at the goal, they were delighted that, specifically, city had scored. It's mad.
Hows that then?
@@Hrochnickso u want them to be mad and sad over a last minute equalizer? Yall will literally say random crap to paint yourselves as some sort of victims
@@jayyzee5708 I don't think you understand what I'm getting at. But that's fine.
The only honest pundit in football, hands up for Micah
Could've sworn Ipswich played against Saints as well wouldn't know it from this though
Sorry, but why do we have to wait for City to be ‘set’. When every other game catching the opposition out is great play. When do city ever let opponents get ‘set’
Why did you not even mention Southampton - Ipswich? Our teams do exist, you know. Shocking.
They do?
Thoroughly enjoyed the comprehensive analysis of the Southampton vs Ipswich match
Same, just as enjoyable as the Brighton v Ipswich match last week
Nobody cares
Why is Gary sweating so much 😂
It's not true that Timber didn't complete a pass. Somehow the stats are getting things wrong as well as the referee. It's all a bit fishy. It almost smells like an agenda.
The stats have now updated to show 1/7 accurate passes
Damn 2 whole minutes on Chelsea
They are waiting for when we get a defeat
Two minutes too long
@@mellowjourney3983 The MOTD was even worse
They really can't bear Chelsea doing well. It would be hilarious to see them win the league if only to clock Shearer's face`!!!
Want to know the difference between football 10 years ago to 20 years?
Mikas van looks nicer than Shearers house 🤣
I think that's MOTD studios
Rugby manages the time aspect perfectly. Oliver is an AWFUL ref, made biggest mistake in Euros too
Oliver destroyed the game. Was a great 1st half, and Arteta had out thought Guardiola. It could have been an all time PL great game but he stopped that. No way should he have sent him off- last year, at the Emirates he didnt send a City player off "because he didnt want to spoil the game" but this he couldn't wait to do so.
We need to look at the refs who go to the Middle East to officiate and get paid handsomely to do so.
"Couldn't wait to do so". Trossard gave the ref absolutely no choice, you can argue either the barge and the kicking the ball away as a yellow on their own but together it's absolutely a second yellow.
@@lawrencebaker1811 The whistle went as he was moving his leg to kick the ball. You try stopping then. Way too short a time to book him for it- 3 seconds later fine, 0.5 seconds? Nope. Ridiculous. The ref was selective and influenced the game by hiding behind a technicality- if every ref displayed zero tolerance every game would end up being 7 v 7. It's nonsense.
Out thought how exactly? They got dominated until Rodri went off injured. Entered city's half 3 times and scored twice. Out thought though...
I don’t agree with waiting on walker do come back, because what’s the point of quick free kicks then? The whole purpose is to catch the defence off guard weather they’re in position or not
This Arsenal/ManCity game left me broken 💔 ... I watched the score on my phone and could not believe that last-minute goal.
Ouch!
Thanks for your lovely podcast, just watching this makes me feel better about the draw😊
Don’t call it a ‘premier league review’ if you ain’t gonna even mention some teams..
Well, to their credit, the title (currently) says "Premiere" league review, so maybe that's an out they can use
I'm not a huge fan of millionaire pundits flashing their cash so much tbh
Unbreakable friendship, unbreakable quality between These guys.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
If Rodri didnt go off would've been 5-0 lmao delusional arsenal fans
Because the City games are two of the most important games for Arsenal to have an actual chance to win the league. They need all 6 points. Otherwise, they're bottling it again for a third straight year.
@@AlienOmertaTV All if’s, buts and maybe’s. I’ve got one for you, if Kovacic rightly got sent off last year, Man City may have lost 5-0. Or how about if yesterday Haaland got red carded for his aggressive and violent play and Doku got booked for kicking the ball away or Trossard didn’t get booked because neither did Doku then Arsenal would have battered Man City 5-1. See what I’m doing, you can spin it however you want, but the fact is, Man City could not beat 10 men Arsenal at home. Let’s see what they do at the Emirates against 11 men Arsenal.
@@AlienOmertaTV If Trossard didn't get sent off, Arsenal would have won 4-2. Using the ''Rodri injury as a way to make yourself feel better is saying that you fear Arsenal.
How is rodri's mentality?? Keep celebrating a draw you goat faces .. may be next season you will celebrate A draw against leeds in the championship
Villa get a massive 2 mins of talk, 3rd in the League, best start for over 40 years in the Top League, they've come back twice in two games and have come back from playing away in the Champions League midweek after winning 3 nil. Absolute joke
He dropped Rashford for rotation.
Garnacho also scored 3 and assisted 2 the last two games
Are you guys serious?? It's clear there is no fallout with Rashford. It is healthy rotation and competition between him and Garnacho! Yes Rashford scored 3 goals in previous 2 games but Garnacho also had 3 goals and 2 assists!!! You guys are blinded by stuff like this when it comes to English players.
He has a James Bond underwater car!
And Martinelli was so wide in his position anyway because he was prepared that Walker would have needed additional time to mark him in the first place.
completely missed out that dean henderson had a wordlie of a game and made a load of incredible saves, the legecy media just doesnt give the same level of football insight as the youtube generation, sadly the rest of football review isnt as good as the likes of this is football or the football fill in etc
Maybe if Arsenal hadn’t had to play with a day less rest after traveling midweek while City did not, they would have had less cramps after playing 55 minutes with 10 men.
Arsenal were the better team.
Another week, another episode where you spend a huge amount of time discussing Man City and almost completely ignore Southampton, Ipswich, Leicester, and Everton. There is alot to talk about with all those clubs. Well worthy of five minutes between them!
Every video's comment section: what about my team though?
The official broke their hearts. That red card changed the result.
He did nothing wrong. Trossard 'broke their hearts' by being an idiot.
Liverpool got 4 early red cards last season over 3 games and got 6 points out of them (only lost last second with 9 men vs spurs). You can still win with 10 men.
@@georgeyboy5256 Only bookable when Arsenal players do it.

Apple TV 4K screensaver Alan. Worth buying for the screensaver alone.
Like Shearer doesn't know what a screensaver is! "I thought you were in an aquarium". No, Alan, you really didn't.
Because they love making stories out of Rashford and Manchester United.
True, but its fun chatting shite about chelsea they love to do it, just wait until we lose we go from a brief mention to half the podcast
It's gonna take more than just a few years for the rest of the world to forget why you are able to act like a spoiled kid in a candystore in the transfermarked my dude ;)
Free spending of russian oilmoney for a decade to build the foundation for todays Chelsea and a consistently sneaky exploitation of every imaginatice loophole are not really the way to endear yourselves to the rest of the league.
Gary having his headphones on the wrong way is triggering me in a way that it shouldn't..
The time between the referee blowing the whistle and Trossard kicking the ball was 1.5 seconds! Absolutely ridiculous refereeing.
0.8 seconds according to Sky Sports' stop watch.
@@TC-mt1zxalmost as long as pan persie when he got sent off
Yup but you could literally tell he changed his kicking action when he heard it. Instead of a pass it became a big hoof to nowhere.
Man City in the 2nd half did nothing offensively, De Broyne and Rodri were such a big miss for them, but on the other hand, Arsenal did fantastic defensively.
Yeah so good defensively parked every player in the box for the whole half and still couldn't keep them out and get the win
Can't believe we are praising Arsenal for constantly time wasting
Arsenal are back baby and people hate us 😂😂 love it
Back from where?
The question no one is asking is did the ref give Trossard the second yellow for the barging challenge rather than for kicking the ball away? Trossard steams in knocking the player to the floor and the ref blows for a free kick then Trossard hoofs the ball away. I'm inclined to think he had already decided to give him a second yellow for the foul
It's been confirmed that the yellow card was for kicking the ball away. The referee had gestured for a free kick for the foul but was not reaching to get a card out.
Main stream media up to their usual tricks and not addressing issues that EVERYONE watching can see. Well done lads 🙄
Amazing how easy it has become to dislike Arsenal and their fans. Used to hope for anyone to please beat City. Well now it’s anyone but Arsenal. Oh and United too!😅
Big Meeks starting off strong lying about the atmosphere in the Etihad !! 😂😂
If Micah slowed down and took a breath he’d be much more articulate
Was waiting for Micah's disco lights to come on
Is that the new rule now? City will inform the ref when they are ready to carry on with play? Wow, they already had a lot going for them in the officiating stakes, this will take it to a whole new level.
Best match this week. 115 Charges vs 115 Excuses FC
Haaland did enough to get three or four yellow cards. So many city players kicked the ball away or committed hard fouls but nothing.
You will spend more money watching it in the pub with drinks etc.
@@alphacanine9641 But it’s one less subscription innit
The nonsense around a quick free kick is ridiculous. He walked back into position. Pep said as much. City can do no wrong. Re. Dark Arts, City are on trial currently. And every good team would slow the game down with 10 men. Liverpool didn't and got thumped.
Love it guys cheers. What a goal that was at that time by Ricardo. There’s nothing better ❤ shame we couldn’t get all 3 points.
Doku is overrated! Dribble, dribble, dribble. That's it!
Remove rodri? The guy got injured after a very light push from partey, wasn't even a foul so what are you on about?
Shhhhhhhhh you'll sound do much better..
lmao they removed Rodri by making him awkwardly plant his leg and get injured?
Rodri should try staying on his feet rather than looking to dive
Think what’s more controversial about the Arsenal goal is that it was taken 10m further up the pitch. The ref should have pulled it back to take it where the foul happened. 10m is a big difference compared to a couple feet
Big Meeks must be so conflicted watching yesterdays game😂🤣😂
The analysis for the Southampton game was great will definitely watch the pod next week for more insightful punditry 😂😂😂
You need to stop with the Chelsea has hundreds of players to choose from bollocks,we’ve got two players in most positions and a couple of fringe players like most good teams.
Lineker thinks is funny so won't drop it, and generally they love bashing Chelsea and hate them doing well
Why are just making it about Rashford for United lol.. some many more talking points. Eg Onanas double save, or did you exhaust your sacks over Raya 🙃🫠 embarrassing.

It was a battle field out there and even the ref played dirty 😅
Listening to all these pundits saying City players did not attempt to undrlap in the second half but just passing the ball around makes me think if they actually understand the game at all.
One thing Man City players are very great at is that underlap runs. But, there was no space to do that against Arsenal - no space to run into at all.
I can't focus on what Micah is saying with the Apple background pictures
