Great vid - cool & fun - love it 🤙 Questions: Do u reckon this amp is loud enough to gig with in a small club enviro & is the clean channel a good pedal platform? Also, can I pop in an el34 straight away or will I need to perform the bias toggle mod? Lastly, any idea where I can I find one of these already modded? Thank u.
just want to say for the 3 pot tone stack mod? you can actually just use a piece of bent aluminum metal sheeting and just use velcro to velcro it near the opening just under where rob mounted his inteh chassis, then add a toggle switch to "disengage" all 3 pots and set it back to the original wiring, an isolated switch would be ideal, this way its all reversible easily, if you solder to the cap legs you do not have to disturb the original contact point, why that matters I have no idea?
They are just rubber amp feet for when I do future mods I can turn the amp on its side and not scratch up the table or the vinyl on the side of the amp
@@julianwalterkiss4137 no it didn't have any him that I remember, I just wanted to do it as a project. I didn't notice a big difference by adding a choke - it was just fun to do :)
@@julianwalterkiss4137 I'm not the best judge of that. The 6L6 give it more headroom so it's a lot more clean. I preferred the early break up of the EL84 tubes.
@@FrazierJustin there are many mods in that link, no feets mod tho? what size drill bit for the feets, so which mod is this video, I want a transformer style choke
@@deandee8082 I just bought some random screws from Lowes and drilled a small pilot. Nothing precise. I don't know that I'd recommend doing it this way, a couple of the screws came loose over time and I had to coat them with wood glue and shove them back in
@@deandee8082 I don't remember the specific mods, I was just trying to make a silly little video. I have almost 0 knowledge of electrical circuits, I just picked a few I thought were doable
Love the sound FX!!

Top video sounds!!
This is one of my new favorite videos lol/smh
Awesome 👏🏻
Cool vid, was quite enjoyable to watch. You like the cannabis rex speaker better than the stock chromeback after the swap?
Hard to tell since I did so many mods at once. But I have no complaints with the speaker itself, I thought it sounded good.
3:02 Todo bien hasta que enciende el amplificador sin la posición Standby...
Whats with the funny noises and if you're modding any thing indicate what you're doing.
I was just trying to make a silly video. I don't remember which mods, I just picked a few on that website and followed the instructions
What are the pegs that you drilled into the sides for?
They are just rubber amp feet for when I do future mods I can turn the amp on its side and not scratch up the table or the vinyl on the side of the amp
will that choke work for me here in the land of OZ? aka 240v down-under?
I honestly have no idea. I was just following the instructions
Yes, definitely will work!
What did this mod do for you?
Run different tubes, higher wattage, and the choke removes hum
@@FrazierJustin originally the amp got hum? Or when you put the 6l6gc? I'm thing to buy the special 6 ultra its comes with te original 12" vht speaker

So you modded the amp but didn’t actually say what the mods were?
