Hi, are postcards from other countries such as European and Asian countries also worth money or just American?
There are a lot of postcards from a lot of different countries that have great value. I've sold many postcards from other countries for well over $100 each. I always keep an eye out for cards from the Philippines, Poland, China, Hong Kong, Japan and most others from Asia. Most people don't deal with foreign cards mostly because the research and translation into finding the location take more effort than cards from the US.
How many post cards do you sell each day? I’d imagine you have a lot listed!
Unfortunately, not enough. Some days it might only be 2-3 other days it's 15-20. Average is probably only about 8-10.
I enjoy your videos a lot. Quick question, why do you not like Massachusetts Cards? I’ve heard you mention that often. Also STOL is an acronym for “ShortTake Off and Landing”. Aircraft that needs very very little runway. Thanks again
@@davechaisson9590 It's a stupid hang-up I have. And it's not just Massachusetts cards, I don't like most New England states. From my experience over the past 26 years, postcards from NE states are a very slow seller. I rarely have had a huge seller from those states, so I tend to avoid even looking in those states when I'm at a show.
@@PopeyesPostcards Thanks for answering my question! would you say it takes a lot of research or foreknowledge to know which postcards would do well on eBay when you're sourcing them? I have a few post cards but I don't think they would be worth much.
