Thanks for watching! If you are new to the channel, hit subscribe for weekly lawn care tips. Also, the Quinclorac measuring flask is designed to measure granules in weight, not liquid in volume. Because of that, I over applied by 0.25 liquid ounces. Probably would’ve had less bronzing with a proper measurement.
Great video. Really awesome tip regarding the morning dew. I always “get lost” spraying, and I don’t like the blue dye look all over for the first week or so. I have yet to use PGR. I want to, it’s just that I overseeded in the spring and I am still recovering. I will NEVER overseed in the spring again.
@@reellowbermuda8786 Use a measuring cylinder to measure liquids. If you want to use that quinclorac beaker first weigh out the necessary volume of water on a weighing scale mark your line and then replace the water with the liquid chemical.
i noticed you didnt use a surfactant. i always use a surfactant when using liquid apps. or at least dawn for pgr, herbs, liquid ferts. a surfactant allows you to use the minimum dose and get max Potency and saves you money because you use less product. its about leaf runoff vs Adhering to the plant.. im sure you know but example for newbies.. if i run water on a plate it runs off. if u put dawn or dish soap on a plate it stays on the plate. you want liquid to stay on the blades of grass long as possible for product Penetration just a tip for users. great vid ALSO DO NOW WATERING PGR IN or apply if rain in 24hrs let is dry on the grass
You stole my idea hahaha. Nah but In all seriousness, I applied my very first ever PGR app on Monday also. It hammered my .400 HOC Bermuda pretty hard. I have been on a 4 day schedule so I kept the clippings from my final pre app cut and Thursday I’m gonna do the same comparison you did. The lawn looks like shyt still. Hasn’t really grown out much if any. Hahaha so it’s working
A little off topic question that I could use your assistance on. I noticed you do not have transport wheels on your JD. I would like to take off the transport wheels off my 220C that I recently purchased so that I can get it into my outdoor shed (36" door). I removed the RH cover and it looks like the piece that the transport wheels slide onto maybe threaded in. Is that correct? If so, is it LH or RH threaded? I have researched JD on line parts manuals, etc,. and I could not find the answer. Any insight would be helpful. I enjoy your channel and like you, I live in Central Texas and have tiff bermuda that I am currently mowing with a rotary mower and ready to take it to the next level. Thanks for your help.

I’ve never had any luck with overseeding
🌞 Great video! Thank you for sharing. I've used the Quinchlorac beaker with liquids before, too. Oops.. Yard still looks great!
Not sure how I never thought about that not measuring liquid.
I have the same quinchlorac measuring beaker. The values listed on the side are not accurate for liquids, check it against another measuring device
Oh geez! I never thought of that! Thanks for pointing that out.

How long should I wait to mow after applying T nex?
Awesome content 👏 👌

First bourbon and now Franklin BBQ. I like this guy.
LOL! Thanks man!
Please help me with my lawn! I'm in Austin in Tarrytown
Results are great! Thx for sharing. Any info on how you went about doing the rock perimeter in the fence lines?
I just dug out a 12” wide and 6” deep trench and filled it with river rock. Super simple and effective.
@@reellowbermuda8786 how do manage Bermuda that grow in the river rock?
Put my PGR down today with a half dose of CoRoN 18-3-6. Great video.
Nice! Thanks for watching!

I bought my JD used and it already had the wheels removed. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
What's the name of the big bush with purple flowers? Just moved to TX and I see it everywhere, it looks close to a lilac.
Vitex
How are you determining your application timing on your pgr ?
I’m using 200 growing degree days. It on my first video about T-nex
Great video but it’ll be easier to just pick up the backpack and shake it. :)
