I discovered shortly after making this video that touching one of Jiang Shi's lightning balls with any shield glyph instantly destroys it. This makes fighting the boss, getting his glyph, grinding his glyph up to max by absorbing ~30ish of them, and grinding the boss for EXP much, much easier.
No sabes cuanto me ayudo esto, llevaba horas intentando pasarme la cueva y con esta guia solo mecosto 3 intentos por el timing contra el doble maestro de armas, gracias
0:08 Thanks for the guide but I would say a lot of people didn't got Accerbatus, it's a missable glyph. Also 0:25 "they come from completing the training hall", yes and no, you can get those after completing the training hall AND being very lucky finding what you need in the chests.
Unfortunately, the balance of the game goes out of whack near the end, and there's a few standout glyphs that are just way stronger than everything else. I don't think there's a substitute for Acerbatus. While it's certainly beatable without, I doubt any other glyph is as effective against tin men or cave trolls. Nitesco, while probably the strongest glyph overall, doesn't do what Acerbatus does in these rooms. Check out JupiterClimb's video on the glitch that lets you escape the boss rush. You may be able to fight Albus, get Acerbatus, escape the boss rush, and save. I don't know if it works, but it's worth trying! Failing that, there's also New Game Plus.
thanks for the guide fam, very helpful I see you already know about blocking the lighting balls with a shield Another cheesy strategy is to use globus + volaticus and just fly over the ceiling spamming it, it takes more time than nitesco + volaticus but is generally safer, especially against weapon master + dual hammer
If your reflexes are on the slower side, consider doing boss rush B and cheese every boss using Universitas to get the "left eye of the devil". Combined with either mercury or winged boots, you have more leeway to respond to threats the entire game throws at you. -You can even play a hard mode lv.1 with death ring this way- .
Or if you don't feel like fighting and breaking a sweat hit the enemy once and just fly around till the door opens most of the doors are timed you don't have to beat the enemies to open the doors just fly and wait and they will open within a minute or two
This can work but I don't think it's the fastest or easiest approach. Many of the rooms contain monsters that can attack anywhere, forcing you to actively dodge rather than just park yourself in a corner. For those rooms, it's generally easier and always much faster to just kill the enemies. For the rooms where you CAN just park yourself in a corner, the enemies are generally pretty nonthreatening and can be killed fairly quickly. The Large Cavern will necessarily force multiple attempts; the time spent waiting for doors to open adds up quickly.
@@WildMatsu cool thanks... I was searching all over the internet and not much for answers on this. I guess I didn't have the eye for decay equipped when I finished that part... thought I did
@@WildMatsu Ok for the first time I saw that happen. I cleared the Large Cavern 2 times now and I got another Minerval Mail. Is that the only item I can get from it or do I need to equip the Treasure Hat to land the Alexandrite? Thanks!
@@adamreyes.worldwide I'm pretty sure the Alexandrite is available in both places, but for my money, the Training Hall is much easier to do quickly and consistently. The Treasure Hat isn't necessary, but it might help. Chests are spawned when entering the area, so you can put it on, enter the Large Cavern/Training Hall, then take it off.

at the end u misspoke. the only reason to do training hall is irinas quest? u meant cavern :D
were you able to level fidelis mortus to max? what does it look like? maxing out the medusa summon is really useful.
3 years later, you saved me so much time. You have my thanks, sir
Thank you so much for both this and the Training Hall videos. Would never have completed these otherwise; long live Castlevania!

good tip before you go in TALK TO THE WOMEN ON THE RIGHT to get the mission to kill jang shi.
So how do you get to the large cavern?
I'm at the end of Draculas castle and haven't found it yet
There's a hidden passage near the bottom of the castle, after Blackmore I think

Actually use rapido fio can fast .
Does the rare chest at the end reset again with a different item or you get stuck with whatever comes out of it?
@@adamreyes.worldwide Like all random chests in OoE, it respawns when you leave the area and come back.

@@WildMatsu Gotcha thanks for the tip and quite weirdly the Training Hall for me is much harder than the Large Cavern for some reason 😀
