As someone who has never played any of the games, but seen some scene's from the games, and from a few of the shows, I love this movie. Shadow has always been my favorite character and I just enjoyed it so much. I love that there was more scenes with just the main cast, and not so many humans. I did notice something when I was watching the movie, toward the end. I was always anticipating the movie going back to the egg-men, it actually made me sad because I wanted more scene time with Sonic, Shadow, etc. Sooo, yeah. 9.5/10 for me.

Yeah I do wish it got that rating too. It could have possibly expanded on some story elements, but it is what it is I guess lol
