I was thinking about that too. Remembering small kid days when the ohana got together, uncles playing ukulele and the aunties all drunk half crying/half laughing. Nobody getting lickins😂😂😂😂
I miss you mom... crazy how it's been 10 years without you here with us, but when I listen to these songs it gives me comfort knowing that your never too far from our pu'uwai.
I don't care what you say. THIS IS NO COVER!!!!!!!! Dad gum it!!!! This was great. Why was I not made aware of this version until now???? Heads are gonna roll. Loved this. Clapton would probably lay back with his hands behind his head and just nod at this beauty of his song. There is nothing to say. Just play it again.
Hawaii Yacht Club memories. Full moon Friday nights. Da place is packed. Out on the berths, watching the city lights & fireworks; listening to this wonderful music; hearing the crowd yell "Hana Ho".....and feelin' alright. Such a great band. Simplisity. Real good island music....good all the time and anywhere you stay.
i loved working with these guys at Kalihi Palace back in the late 80's and early 90's. I even hired them to play at my FHS 10th Class Reunion in '89. Was awesome and shocked all of my class who couldn't believe we had the most awesome group playing for us.

This song reminds of my youth and when I first met my husband. We would go out in the day or night and this whole scene would play out and unfold and I'd ask him if he was alright since I'd always get men turning their heads just to look and stare at me....Then he'd say..."you look wonderful tonight or he'd WINK😘 at me❤. But that didn't last forever.because as time went by, a year or two later, he'd get irrutated and ask the guys what they were looking at...Then things started getting really uncomfortable.
When I was a little girl my family would get ready for a Paina we would go to and my mom would get ready and ask my dad if she looks alright….good memories
