I just got mine 2 days ago. Beast of a machine it is. Graphics is beautiful. The cooler blaster is insane! It is loud but with some noise canceling headphones it’s no problem. If anyone is considering getting your hands on this beast. Get you a good cooling pad that can incline.

Yes it has the rainbow effect and other stuff, the name is like Mystic Rgb or something like that, but yeah it has the rainbow effect and others to. Even you can speak to the keyboard Hey Lucky change purple and it will do it. well.... cheers!

Yep, that was another mistake msi made on the specs. Originally I bought this laptop cause their website showed it had the 130 watt 3070, and per key rgb keyboard. After I did this video msi updated their website.
Why the intake vents are blocked exactly below the fan intake ? LOL This will lead to higher temps. Sometimes I don't understand how these oems think when designing their laptops.
That puzzled me at first as well, however, I think they blocked the vents directly over the fans as to direct the air over the heat pipes, and out through the heat sinks/vents.
if this is 105Wat version of rtx 3070 it is then actually slower in lot of titles or similar to rtx 3060 with 130Wat while it costing 300-400$ more then rtx 3060

You couldn`t change the keyboard color per key because this notebook`s LED controller can only display one color at a time, it`s not divided by sectors, it`s a single sector RGB kind of keyboard.

It's not as good as most people say it is as the rtx 3070 in it is a max-q model so it has a lower wattage (85watts approximately) than the normal rtx 3070 wattage(185watts approximately)
Bro i down clock my msi and it is still a beast to be honest i was having a set up pc dell optiplex with gtx 1050ti it was good but the cpu is unupgradedable it has 16 gb ram dd3?? Maybe im not sure Last two mouths the cpu was like 100% use after a windows update the computer became unuseable and unplayable So I bought msi laptop and it is an absolute beast I fully recommended for any gamer,disigner and ai learning it. Good not that much heat come from it I downclocked it and it is still a monster
Sorry for the late reply. I haven't ran into a heat issue. I haven't ran it very hard though so I can't say for sure. As far as editing it's a pretty good machine and does what I ask of it.

I have yet to really test it too much but I have played fallout 4 for about 6 hours and it seemed to do quite well. I didn't actually track the temps but the unit wasn't hot at all to the touch.
yes and no. Depends on what model you recieve and amazon has no way of telling you. Mine came with a larger battery that blocks the port, frustrating. If you receive the model with the small battery you can use a 2.5" sata. So it's a hit and miss, not sure how to know what size battery will come in the unit.

The laptop I recied actually came with twice the capacity that most come with. Its advertised to be 53wh and the one o recieved is 90wh. It's ok but I surely wouldn't want the 53wh.

Keep in mind though they sell this laptop with the 90 and 53 battery so if someone says they get good battery life you have to also ask what size battery they have. If you get a 90wh it blocks the sata port just so you know.
Price wise it's midrange gaming laptop but design is look so cheap, last year GL65 look more premium and better in design than this.. 1500 $ you get alienware with top nocth bulid quality and look.

Than I realized they were wrong on the keyboard lighting, originally they stated it was per key lighting but it's really a single zone. The last straw was the sata port. The one I received has a bigger battery for some reason and it blocks the port. They really dropped the ball on this unit.
@I Hate The Government I ended up keeping mine. I called amazon and they refunded a good amount of money for the discrepancies. Try calling them and see what they do for you. The laptop does the editing I wanted to do with it so overall for the reduced price I am happy with the laptop.

it's a battery hog in the high performance modes. There's a low battery mode that seems ok. I haven't fully tested it yet.
Apparently you can expect 3-5 hours in low battery mode

Hi 2 Nvme slots on one 2.5" sata. The sata however may be blocked depending on the battery size. The 90wh will block the sata port

I believe there is a setting to use dedicated or integrated gpu. But I'm not 100 percent sure
