I discovered Karla Bonoff back in the mixups when I was in university. I have been a loyal fan ever since. Her music has always hit me where I live and it ALWAYS will…
First of all, I can not begin to convey how good this feels. I grew up watching “The Wonder Years” and fell in love with this song and it’s soul. A few years ago I grew frustrated - I looked for a live video of this being played - unfortunately all I could come across was a live audio recording only. While the audio alone did help fill a void and was indeed lovely, it’s just not the same of seeing it via video. THANK YOU!!!!!❤ Updated: I’ve been practically listening and watching this video all day and I still can’t convey how good this feels. Watching Karla Bonoffs face as she performs this I can’t help but wonder how this song affects her when performing it or where the song takes her mentally. As a child when trying to picture how this would look and feel being played live I couldn’t help but try to imagine the depth and sincerity on her face. It’s everything I hoped it would be. Thanks again for such a beautiful performance. 💙 Updated: The lyrics: 🎼If I thought about all the loves I knew I know they'd all fade except for you🎼 Esp this x5: 🎼And someday you'll see how much you taught me🎼 For me is the selling point of the song, or it’s backbone if you will. It was this specific lyric that I wanted and needed to see Karla Bonoff’s face - I needed to see on her face what I felt as a child - a heart swelling inside and taking flight, bursting with hope, love, and nostalgia. Thank you so much for this! Sincerely! I can’t even tell you how good this feels, if only to experience once again how much this makes my own heart soar! Thank you Karla Bonoff for making one of my dreams from childhood come true! If I knew how to repay you, I’d do so in a heartbeat. 💕
She’s absolutely awesome one of the best underrated talents ever
As a die-hard Wonder Years fan I love this song so much! It's my favorite tune of all time, for sure! ❤
