Wow, what a powerful shuir. Toda raba, Rabbi Nissel. I remember learning that one of the few merits Klal Yisroel had in being able to leave mitzrayim was that we didn't dress in the ways of the Egyptians, which was of a very immodest nature.
I personally think the long sheitel style of today is beyond immodest. If a married woman is covering her hair for the purpose of keeping her locks of beauty only for her husband, how does wearing the style of today's sheitel conform with any level of modesty...every man is turning to look. And as the sheitel has gotten longer over the years the skirts have gotten so short they are above the knees or above the knees when one sits down. This will not help bring the geulah.
