Dude, I love Rakdos so much. This little fella headed my second commander deck. The deck is still there but unplayable because it's much too weak now for the pod. Might pick this old favourite of mine back up again and tinker with it again. Thanks, Nicky G!

Let me know if you end up doing that tinkering. I've got a Rakdos deck myself and it's in a bit of a weird spot power/consistency wise. Left unchecked it can throw 20 mana of dudes down super early, but a well timed counterspell can set your deck plan back a whole 2 turns. I've been trying to up the power by changing it more into an Impact Tremors + Ancestral Statue kinda deck.

@@Liamitis that's pretty much what happened to me when I played that deck! I went the big disgusting creatures route. And sure, it was fun but as you said with the early explosiveness but well-timed counterspells or board wipes often set the deck back so much that it's hard to come back. Even if you manage to come back from that two times it's hard to pull off a win. The table isn't stupid and sees what you're doing. Actually going more in the direction of good etbs with smaller but more consistent threats and payoffs might work better in my pod at least instead of cramming it full of big fat threats so you're not constantly public enemy number one. We'll see, I'll sit down over the holidays to play around with this big ol' hunky boi

Does Rakkie get command tax after backing datass back into c/z?

Rakdos (Lord of Riots)? He's also good for the 99/98 of decks where the commander has a steep colorless cost, or the tax has built up...
...perfect for a Mardu, Grixis, Jund, Yore, Dune, Glint, or even 5-color commander with a steep amount of colorless mana needing to be spent.

You've got absolutely nothing interesting to say.
I thought "yea maybe this is a different approach to this deck" no it's not. It's just garbage. If you really want to profit off of Rakdos's ability cast anihilator Eldrazi. hurr durr but this is a casual format. Yea maybe, but still no reason to play objectively bad cards.

I think you very much for your deck and video input. It helped me expand my understanding as to how to bring the concept of fractals forward and even invites other peoples comments whether they’re negative or not to least get a chance to add even more to the mix, which I think is helpful.
