I hope people aren't fooled into thinking this stuff shown here is worth depending on. I watched about the first 5 "gadgets" shown on here and the first thing I thought of was, "This is a bunch of junk you'd see for sale at the flea market or on the counter at the gas station."
@@Prepper_Raider i have limited camping experience most of it coming from offroading/overlanding but id agree most of the things on here is pretty useless even for an emergency bag. take the first "tool" for example 24 items but imagine if the handle breaks then you have 6 pounds of useless tools to carry around. id rather have an actual shovel or axe if needed. then next you have an "all season" sleeping bad thats not rated for any temps and a stainless steel folding knife? 😑😑 just saying id rather have a quality knife and a quality sleeping bag rated for proper temps than a thermal blanket that probably wouldnt last the night from moving around
@@dubblekil shouldn't be a question of 1 or the other. But consider what you can carry on your person and trust me, the weight adds up fast. Before I retired, I lived out of a sleeping bag in the field for weeks at a time out in the field. We were issued a modular sleep system that came with a bivy cover, lightweight summer sleeping, a thick winter bag and the stuff sack to compress it down. A real moral changer for sure. I can also tell you horror stories about the sleeping system when it got soaking wet and with next to no sun for days, not being able to use it. Bottom line, better off with a woobie, a mylar blanket and a robust air mattress. Nice thing about mylar material is its many uses from keeping you warm in the winter, cool in the summer, can be used as a rain jacket, used for water collection, cooking, dehydrating, signaling and more. Don't get me wrong, if I had to chose between that sleep system and the mylar, for comfort reasons, my own moral etc. I would want to take the sleep system even know I know it would be a mistake if I had to choose one over the other.
Glad i didn't have to mention Sawyer Water filter as being the ONLY real option. Look up the company and where your money goes when you buy sawyer. It also has finer filtration then most units on the market and is good for a LIFE time.
I read through the comments and I must say I agree with some of the comments. If you are going to use something for your thumbnail, you should list it in your video. That said, what is the 'name' of the gadget in the thumbnail 2 people have asked about?

What would you know?
What would top 5 'gadgetries' would you bring mister expert?
As a motocamper, I'm saying most of this stuff has cred. But the 3 rules of camp gear still apply: durable, cheap, lightweight. Pick two.

Thank you for highlighting the importance of choosing a reliable and long-lasting water filter like Sawyer.
