Good day Dr. Dray 👋🏻 Thank you for the information and the FACTs, always feel like you’re looking out for us. I have PCOS, I’ve been drinking spearmint tea for a few months and have not seen a big difference. I started to drink it after reading suggestions in a PCOS group on Facebook. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 🎉
I thought maybe it was just too much coffee and then the end jingle came in and I realized the video was sped up! Dr. Dray, THANK YOU for drinking spearmint tea everyday for science-what dedication! 😂❤❤❤
Happy Thanksgiving Dr. Dray and everyone! 🎊 Thank you Dr. Dray for sharing your wealth of knowledge very single day with us and showing up everyday for us ! ❤️
I love mint tea, I am half moroccan and mint tea made with fresh mint leaves is a huge staple in moroccan culture. Fresh mint leaves are the best for taste, but since Im in the uk and cant always get fresh mint daily, I buy teabags that have the 3 types of mint in one bag. I started drinking it way more regularly a couple of years ago after dinner because I found it to be very good for digestion. I feel like my hormonal acne has improved but that could just as well be the extra water I consume along with it 😅
In Texas, my dad planted mint along with tomatoes as the smell of mint kept most of the bugs out of maturing plants. The only pesticide he used was 7 dust, which doesn't invade growing food (?) & can be washed off easily.
I have a thyroid and hormonal disorder and It helped me with my terrible facial hairs, along with IPL treatments. Spearmint definitely sped up the enitre process of it.

Dr. Dray, could you review the new Cerave Intensive Moisturizing Lotion with their Hydra-Urea? And maybe compare it to the Prequel Urea Moisturizer? My skin does really well with Urea so I’m really curious about these
Well that answers my question. I have those pesky hairs on my chin, and I started to notice they weren't growing as quickly within the last month or so. I started drinking mint and green tea together for the last month, just so because I like the taste. So maybe, just maybe, it's the mint that slowed up the chin hair growth. However, I know for sure that mint tea stops my headaches. #happyholidays

as soon as you said spearmint tea is a delicious beverage, i burst out laughing. too true, it is! i do think mint teas help soothe the stomach, but i don't think they do much else. it's one of the only kinds of tea i can have, and i like it a lot.
I get tired of going back to the laser specialist or electrologist over and over for years! I used to go about once a week for 3 to 4 years and I finally stopped! But now, I have to get some chin hairs zapped and my moustache erased! I know these areas are definitely more sensitive to androgens and other male hormones!
Hi Jackie!! Happy Thanksgiving!!! I hope yours was a fantastic one. It rained here this morning but very mild temperatures. I had a few windows open when I was cooking because my kitchen was getting hot. Lol! I just got home from taking my oldest sister home. She doesn't drive We enjoyed good food together so that was nice. Quiet and drama free. Just how I like my holidays. I'm getting ready to relax and have tea. Would love you to join me, my dear, sweet friend. My kitties are exhausted from all of the excitement 😹 but I'm sure I could coax them to get some cuddles and head scratches and I hope Miss Fancy Pants can join them. Give her some extra ones from me, please. I hope you have a lovely evening and enjoy sweet dreams. Peace, joy and many blessings to you always. 💗🕊💗🙏💗☕🐈☕🐈💗🦃🍰🐾🐾💗
Happy Thanksgiving Dr Dray and everyone celebrating! I like spearmint tea but never expected it to get rid of facial hair. Lol! Honestly had never even heard that was supposed to be a thing. Thanks for always letting us know the truth. Happy Thursday! Hope you have a relaxing evening. 🦃💕🦃
Best way to avoid acne and excess androgens is a ketogenic diet. More glucose in your blood = higher insulin and that can also lead to higher blood pressure. I treated my hormonal acne for 20 years with spironolactone a weak bp medication that decreases androgens. When i read that there was a link between insulin and androgens I went hard keto and guess what, hormonal acne gone. I was told the acne would improve in menopause but no, it was worse. I have to be very careful with carbs now. They literally show up on my face
I take spearmint supplement for a few years for acne and it helps with those under skin acne that is painful and tender. I find tea gross to drink everyday so I take supplement!
Happy Thanksgiving Dr Dray! I used to tweeze a random chin hair but one time it left a bump which won’t go away. Worried about tweezing going forward. Do you think that was a one time fluke? 🎉❤
Hi Dr. Dray, Can you make a video on the best glycerin free, or vegetable glycerin products you recommend? Since glycerin is found in most products but sadly, some people can not use it since it usually derives from pork 🐖.
Hmmm. I've never seen it being called out as such, but interesting. The 100% glycerin I have does state vegetable though. Great request would love to see it Dr dray
I take spearmint capsules! But honestly, taking high amounts of zinc has helped me way more with my PCOS. Edit: Please don’t forget to take copper as well if you’re taking a lot of zinc.
I thought I was unfortunate to have excess hair all over and have spent a lot of time and effort taking care of it. Is this a little more common and we all just deal with it?
Spearmint tea, definitely, works with pcos/hirsutute women. It takes 2-4 cups or more, daily, depending on how severe your facial hair problem is. It reduces free testosterone. The risk, maybe in drinking it long term, is reducing your overall testosterone. I don't know it does, but it's something for which to look out.
It should be consumed with caution just like other treatments that reduce testosterone for instance spironolactone. I suggest taking breaks instead of drinking daily and consuming mostly when you're actively breaking out.

I love mixing mint and green tea! It gives the freshness of mint and boldness of the green tea. Just a random recommendation ❤
I'll give it a try, definitely. Thank you for sharing this idea.

Try growing mint. It is super easy and grows like a weed and spreads everywhere automatically. We freeze the mint to last us through the winter too

Thank you so much for trying!
be careful with mint teas if you have acid reflux or gastritis
Shoot. I knew the other shoe would drop. Acid reflux squared.
Electrolysis works
for removing hair.
Chin, lip and leg
hair removed over
Effective and
reasonable price.
The hair must have enough pigment, so not useful for thick, gray or silver chin hairs.😢

Edit: Please don’t forget to take copper as well if you’re taking a lot of zinc.
Tried spearmint a few years ago when I was diagnosed with PCOS, couldn’t stand the taste of it unfortunately.
so which of the tea beverages do you recommend for this spearmint? peppermint? green tea? ginger tea? idk which helps with excess androgens the most?
I'm thinking if it did something for acne, it would only be hormonal acne, otherwise there's no reason it would be beneficial
Happy Thanksgiving!
What happens if you take spearmint tea capsules with Spironolactone?
I thought I was unfortunate to have excess hair all over and have spent a lot of time and effort taking care of it. Is this a little more common and we all just deal with it?
With the mention of hormones, i wonder about any effect on women suffering with hair loss due to alopecia due to menopause hormones?
Can we apply mint tea or oil on the scalp to reduce DHT?
I love mint tea but it started causing itchy bumps on my skin. Happens with anything I eat with mint. 😔
Is there anything to stop hair from graying ?
Dr Dray has addressed that in some videos.
Ooohhhhh...we have a new 'miracle cure' 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😅
Well, at least it's inexpensive and not harmful.
Could this have negative effect on muscle growth?
Plausible, but I doubt it is enough of a difference
Is there any difference between spearmint and normal mint? Does normal mint does the same action?
They are different plants. You have to use spearmint.
Spearmint has less menthol, so tastes sweeter
Guys have you tried it? Is it any tasty? Thanks 💜
