195 bpm of pure awesomeness ! SSS was the last track (14th full song) on the main set of this show, to be followed by an encore with 3 songs. So 17 full tracks (excluding a piano solo and a drum solo) in a near 2-hour concert. Nuno Bettencourt attended this show and he was so impressed with this performance that he delayed his departure to attend another event to go backstage to congratulate the ladies personally.
One of the greatest metal songs ever written and performed. For my own tastes, I'd say the greatest. The speed and technicality. There's a few other songs of theirs I love even more, particularly when they go into thrash, or the "E" songs, but this song really is in a category all of its own. Just phenomenal.
They play so incredibly tight. To play this flawlessly at this speed while making it look effortless is phenomenal. They are all elite tier musicians. Haruna on drums & Fami on bass are incredible. Asami vocals are worldclass. Midori (light hair) & Miyako (dark hair) are among the best dual guitarists I've heard/seen ever.

Actually, the first concert with Fami was Knocken at Heavens Gate with the first song being Hammer of Wrath. They showcased Fami throughout the song and then her intro with Stand Up and Deliver in the same concert.

The last song after a complete set and they still would end up killing the Energizer Bunny who tried to keep up with the band during this offering...LOL. Haruna?drums ran a marathon during this song while M&M just were spectacular as usual. Even Fami/bass and Haruna got some shine time here!! Asami belted out to the very end like she had just warmed up to start the show. This band has Olympic level endurance and is exhausting just watching perform effortlessly as always LIVE.

Lovebites being phenomenal as usual; this was the end of the concert and the girls at full throttle. With Lovebites you still have a long way to go. Btw, Lovebites toured the UK in 2019 opening for Dragonforce and they’re good friends.
This is from the "Memorial of the warriors soul" concert, which was half a year later than "Knockin' on heavens gate" concert. ...and you hear how much effect it had on Fami. At this point they had a few gigs and probably worked up both confidence and worked in the material and bonded with Haruna. They also started to do clinics together for "rythm sections". Believe they had one a month ago?
Were you just checking to see if it was goosebump time hahahahaha, I always get chills with Lovebites so imagine seeing them in an actual live venue, I seriously thought I died and went to Lovebites heaven. Haruna "Little Big Engine" is the happiest drummer alive, when they voted for the best drummer and they gave to Paulina Villareal of The Warning, Haruna was not even mentioned or put on the list because we all know she would have won. It's cool I love Pau she is an awesome drummer but nothing compared to Haruna. There is a very small class of prolific drummers like Neil Peart of Rush (RIP), Cozy Powell (RIP) to name a couple, and I believe Haruna is perfect for that class. The only way you can tell of an excellent drummer like these persons they surround themselves with many cymbals.

The (in our current time) best Powermetal/Trash band in the world. No other band has the skill in every member, the songwriting, never a bad song, so awsome live. Etc In rock/hardrock, there is Bandmaid and The Warning and Symphony X in our current time... Besides Lovebites in their genre its BattleBeast and Unleash the Archers. But none of them has as high skill in every member and not the phenomenal songwriting in every song. In pure Symphonic Metal, there's offcourse Nightwish and Epica that rules. And in Prog Metal, Ayreon (Just for mention and comparison with some different genres) And btw for me AC DC was more of an Hardrock band.... Thank you for a great reaction ! / J
