I was contacted by a GitHub sales rep and I'll be getting into the beta. The dream of no more complex local sandbox environment is something I've wanted forever. Can't wait to try this out.
One thing I really liked about the Visual Studio Online equivalent (before it was killed off after MS bought GitHub) was the ability to use Visual Studio 2019+ as well as VS Code. There's still some stuff that's just easier in Visual Studio for me personally - This is all personal preference of course, I can't wait to get the type of setup you describe and not worry about local dev environments that have to be configured per device.

Looks promising, no more need for managing local dev envs. My only concern is that the port fwd-ing looks a tad slow ( 6:57 ). Hope this can be ironed out eventually.
Can someone explain how we run the code in vscode web /github.dev?? we can only write it ....how to run it or get access to the terminal??
What are people's opinions here about using iPad Pro with the Coding Spaces? Is is effcient or does it drive you crazy? What issues do you see with coding from an iPad pro in 2021? What hopes do you have for new ipad OS for programming?
Codespaces runs and responds well on my iPad Pro (2018). Work is done better with a real external keyboard vs virtual on-screen. Navigation within the editor is better with the keyboard or mouse than it is with touch.

This is stupid how the f do I learn to code! There's no purpose of this other than to waste time. Nobody even shares codes. It's just ton of downloading! If I wanted to click buttons I'd play a video game! This makes me Sooo mad!
