Truly the king of E rank luck! I couldn’t believe it was happening until we started get close to it, then it started to sink in that we were witnessing history. Pity system really is made more for whales but it’s not the worst thing. I’m just glad we have it for those moments we fear in our gacha nightmares.
It's made for whales in JP, but for us in the NA version, it's a godsend for F2P players, because we can see two years into the future and specifically save up the required amount to guarantee a featured servant. Hopefully there'll be no more horror stories about people throwing 2000 free SQs into the gacha without getting Skadi or Merlin.

That said, this only applies to NP1, as the pity only triggers once per banner, and you can still get lucky before reaching 330 pulls. All things considered, this pity system isn't particularly generous, but it's still leagues better than the laughable USO system we have right now.

Woa there, wasn't expecting a pity system to come out of the blue like that! It's obviously not great considering it takes almost 5 and a half $80 packs (about $440) to trigger it and doesn't carry over between banners but it's better than nothing (copium) and if nothing else will at least prevent some of the most gruesome gacha horror stories like the now infamous "Oberon Saga". Can't believe Myst already took one for the team and showed us how it works though. Not the best way to start the new year so here's to hoping it doesn't happen too often moving forward lol. Went for Merlin or Skadi, got Sherlock in GSSR. I never get the units I want/need in GSSR but got NP2 Koyami from the paid quartz I still had left over so that's a silver lining
