The Anupam Kher Show – Season 2 is an extension of Anupam’s renowned autobiographical play 'Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai where he has openly spoken about his failure and how he has manipulated his destiny. The thespian through the conversations with Bollywood’s biggest celebrities plans to uncover the hidden chapters from their book of life, stories of their resilience, heart breaks, triumphs and how they’ve turned every obstacle into a milestone just the way he resurrected his own life.

oh my god, what a legend. I am still reeling under the shock of this episode. What humility and what depth. I feel lucky to be born in the times of Gulzar Sahab and wish to keep hearing him for a long long time.

Gulzar sahb un logon mein se aik hain. jinki izzat krne ka jii chahta hai. apki awaz apky alfaaz ko sun kr or parh kr main jo mehsoos krta hun usy shayad lafzon mein dhaalna na mumkin hai. ap aik behtareen likhari hone k sath ek bohat ache insan b hain. asa mera dil kehta hai. or ap un chand logon mein se hain jinhon ne dono mulkon k darmeyaan aman ki shama jalaane ka berra utha rakha hai. aap se milna chahy kuch waqt k liye sahi meri zindagi ki bari khuwahishon mein se ek hai. India is liye b bht khush qismat ha kyun k ap wahan mojood hain. kash kabhi main apna ye ehsas apko bta skta suna skta. Love from Pakistan.
Gulzar sahab is awesomely talented. I'm essentially a lover of rock music. When your lyrics are used by Vishal Bhardwaj for his movies, I get an enjoyment that a very few people can relate to. He (Gulzar sir) is so contemporary and still so classic that you can't fail to like him! I made the effort to write the two poems that he shared in this show. Here they go, (if there are any mistakes, please point it out - I tried but Gulzar sahab is so rich with words it sometimes becomes very tough to even share the rich words that he says),
"Kitabein jhankti hai band almari ke sishon se,
badi hasrat se takti hai ye,
mahino ab mulakatein nahi hoti.
Jo shamein unki shahubat mein kata karti thi
Ab aksar guzar jati hai computer ke pardon par.
Badi bechain rehti hai ye kitabein,
unhe ab neend mein chalne ki aadat ho gayi hai.
Jo kadre wo sunati thi, ki jinkein cell kabhi marte nahi the,
Jo rishtey wo sunate thi wo saare udhre udhre hai.
Koi safa palat-ta hun toh ek siski nikalti hai,
Kai lafzon ke maane gir pade hai.
Bina paton ke sukhen tund lagte hai woh sab alfaz,
Jin par ab koi maane nai ugte.
Zabaan pe zaika aata tha jo woh safa palatne ka,
Ab ungli click karne se bas ek jhapki gujarti hai.
Bahut kuch tay batay khulta chala jata hai padhne par.
Kitabon se jo ek jyaati raabta tha,
kat gaya hai.
Kabhi seene pe rakh kar let jaate the,
kabhi godi mein lete the,
kabhi ghutnon ko apne rehal ki soorat bana kar,
neem sajdhey mein padha karte the.
Chute the zameen se.
Woh saara illm toh milta rahega aainda bhi,
magar woh jo kitabon mein mila karte the sukhen phool
aur mehken hue roke,
Kitabein mangane, girne, uthane ke bahane
rishtey bantey the,
unka kya hoga?
Woh sayad ab nahi honge…"

maine nuh ki kashti uske upar rakh di!

Maine kaal ko tod ke lamha lamha jeena sikh liya…

6:50 Like Anupam Kher I also used to read Ibne Safi BA's jasoosi novels. I loved the lead characters of Vinod & Hamid and used to visualize that some body will make pictures but no body dared.

This one by Gulzar Saab is made for Amitabh Bachchan of 1980s "Beedi jalale jigar se piya, jigar mein badi aag hae". Gulzar's writing is an amalgamation of Urdu-Hindi-Punjabi, which reflects his growing up years in West Punjab and thereafter in Delhi and Mumbai. There won't be any more Gulzars in future.

The people who accept criricism are the ones who are genuinely interested in self improvement . Lat season everyone criticised Anupam Kher sir for always interupting and telling his own anectodes in between instead of letting the guests finish their sentences . But ,Kher sahab has taken it as positive criticism and I salute him for changing this in season 2 . Looking forward to this season :)

I don't get why the audio,when Anupam Kher sings the song from Aandhi, has been muted. He is singing on his own and not using the original track then how can it be copyright infringement?

Arjun Rao The law has been amended lately. Without the producer's permission you cant use a song in any form in a commercial programme or Movie. Now Onward s even a scene having characters playing Antakshri wont be possible without producer's permission for the songs being used there which was easily done before.
